Happy Monday Crafty Friends! It's release time at Whimsy! I have to catch up on my Christmas cards and what better way to do that than with one of the super cute new fairies? This is NEW Fairy Grace from Whimsy's Crissy Armstrong collection and I colored her with Copics. Please see full list of colors used below. The background paper is from the  NEW Blurry Flurries   6x6 paper pack.  I adore these papers they are so dreamy and soft. Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone! Here comes my last card for this month and of course it has to be a spooky one. I am using several of the new Halloween products Whimsy released this year. I've listed them all further down and a click will take you to the actual product in the store. I started out by creating a light violet slimline card base (8.5' x 3.5', vertical top fold). Then I die cut the Slimline Hill House die from black cardstock and adhered it to my card front using liquid glue. And voila I had a spooky background within minutes. At that point I still had no clue what stamp I wanted to use and after going through all my Halloween stamps I decided on this 'Dead Dolly ' clear stamp set.....they freak me out....LOL Dolls and Clowns are not my friends! Even as a child I hated dolls, never wanted to play with them. All the dolls I had were converted into something else and my doll's pram was repurposed into a tank, hahaha. Yep, I preferred cars, military to

Hello Friends! I haven't done many Christmas cards yet but I'm planning on changing that during the next few weeks. Here is one of the few I've created so far using the NEW Gossip Holiday Girls stamp set, the NEW Slimline Cityscape die set, the Comic Speech Bubble die set and the A2 size Peekaboo Window 4 die.  I colored my images with Zig brush markers again. Sorry as this has been a while since I made the card I can not remember the colors I've used.  Whimsy products used:                        Thank you for visiting me here today! Hugs,

Hello Everyone! Here is a card I made using the NEW Comic Book Page background stamp. I've paired it with the 'Bam You're Old' clear stamp set also from the Comic line and the NEW Slimline Cityscape dies. This large Comic Book Page background stamp makes for quick and easy cards. I colored it with glitter brush pens but you could leave it black & white as well. The super hero image was colored with alcohol ink markers and then cut out. In the background I've added the Slimline Cityscape that was die cut from black cardstock and then cut to fit in the burst bubble.                 Thanks for visiting today! Hugs,

Happy Wednesday! This is the card I was teaching to make at the Whimsy Stamps Virtual Weekend. It is a slimline card with an acetate overlay and an easy mixed media background. I will not be going into detail on how I created my card because this stays exclusive to the members of the virtual weekend event. But I will be listing all products used at the end of the post. Here you can see the acetate overlay with the stamped sentiment and the images added. On top of the mixed media background I used a slimline frame to add even more detail and texture. The inside if the card is decorated to match the outside. To make it a complete set I've added a bonus project to my class. I've created a template on how to create this matching slimline envelope that would fit our slightly thicker slimline card perfectly. I used white/gold shimmer paper to make the envelope and decorated it with matching images and a blue satin ribbon. Here are all the Whimsy products I've used:

Good Evening Friends - Welcome to my blog and my frightful post for our 31 Nights of Halloween Celebrations over on the Whimsy Blog!   There are LOTS of boo-tiful prizes to win. Please click the banner above to enter the giveaway!   Now onto my spooky birthday card I've created especially for this frightfully fun event: I am using some older and newer products on my card but the main focus is on  'Dracula I compel you'  together with  'Dracula's Coffin'  die set. For the background I cut out a window from a 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock panel using the  'Wavy Stitched Squares'  die set. Then I added a piece of designer paper from the  'Vampire'  6x6 paper pack. I adhered this panel to a red 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. I stamped the   Dracula   image with Versafine Clair ink onto mixed media paper, colored it using my Karin markers and fussy cut it. Then I die cut the tombstones from the    'Dracula's Coffin'   die s
