Christmas in July! Whimsy's newest release just hit the store shelves today. These cute and fun Matchbox Mice Quick Card Fronts making it easy to create Christmas cards in a flash. For my first card I combined the cute NEW Matchbox Mice Christmas Quick Card Fronts with the NEW Holly Frame die set. I cut out the large frame from white glitter paper. Then I used the smaller rectangular die to cut out the Quick Card panel to fit in the larger holly frame. I decorated my card using the included bow and holly dies. The sentiment is included with the Quick Card Fronts and I cut it out using one of the Quick Strips dies. On my second card I used the large Holly Frame die and the smaller rectangle die to create a frame. I used Distress inks, Distress Oxide inks and Distress Spritzes with an ink smooshing technique to ink the Holly frame. To add more texture I sprinkled the inked frame with white acrylic paint. I added the frame to one of the QCF's, added the sentiment and a fe

Happy TGIF! I want to show you 2 cards today I made with Whimsy Stamps newest Quick Card Fronts - Take Care Bears. On the first one I combined the NEW QCF's Take Care Bears with the NEW Get Well Soon Word and Shadow die set and the Retro Mod die set that had been released in May. I used 3 different colored colored cardstock sheets - violet, purple and white as well as white glitter paper. A few Sparkle Gems finish off my card. (a linked product list can be found at the end of this post). On my second QCF card for today I combined the A2 Checkerboard die, Simple Sentiment Strips and NEW Comic Speech Bubbles 2 die set. A bit of Stickles Glitter Glue on the flowers and a few matching sequins add the finishing touch to this card. Hey friends! Check out the newest release from Whimsy Stamps 💖 There are so many awesome products! Here is some inspiration using several of the new products: I combined the cute NEW Panda Get Well Stamp set and matching No Fuss Masks (sold seperately) with the NEW Get Well Soon Word and Shadow die. In addition I also used the earlier released Slimline Big BooBoo die set and Harlequin stencil. Here is a closer look on the images and background. I stamped the images onto kraft mixed media paper with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink. I then used the No-Fuss Masks to cover the Pandas to create my background. I used the Harlequin Stencil and Bundles Sage oxide ink and added sprinkles with black and white acrylic paint. After removing the No-Fuss Masks I colored the Pandas using watercolor markers (Staedtler and Ohuhu).
