ISB Challenge 21 - All about Eggs!

Happy Sunday All! It's ISB-Challenge Day :-) Our 21st ISB Challenge is starting today and it is all about eggs. We want you to create a card or project with at least one egg on it, in it or egg shaped. Get creative! You can enter until Saturday March 27th 6pm CEST. Make sure you stop by at our challenge blog for all the details, rules and to see all the wonderful creations of the DT!
For my card I used an Alota stamp which Ilona also carries in her store. I colored the image using my Copics. I kept the colors soft and made the card in a antique/vintage style with lots of glittery accents (Stickles, Stardust, Diamond, Platinum). The punch I've used is from M.S.. The dies are from Spellbinders and Nellie Snellen. I distressed around the edges of the paper using distress inks tea dye and brushed corduroy.

I used Bunny Tilda from Magnolias Spring/Summer 2008 Collection and colored the image using my Copics. The eggs image is a stamp from Alota from the "Pretty Ovals" set. In the background behind Tilda I used my new Spellbinders Lotus Pendant. Flowers are from Magnolia, available in limited quantities HERE. CS is from Bazzill and the DP I used is from Imaginisce.

Singing Tilda - Stampartic Challenge

As I promised here I am with my second posting for today and my card :-) I made this card as my entry for this years last challenge at Stampartic. The challenge is to mask and stitch on your card/project. And the winners prize will be the stunning Stampartic Calender made by the Stampartic DT! Wow what an awesome prize!!! This calender is fantastic!

Now onto my card. Even if I used an image from this years Magnolia Christmas collection I would not necessarily say that this is a Christmas card. I think it is more like a seasonal card a Winter card and can be used for several occassions. That is also why I didn't use Christmassy colors. I used the Magnolia Tilda image 'Tilda Singing Carole's" and the Alota stamp "Window/Wall" and masked them together. Coloring is done with Copics and also Copics Airbrush System for the house wall, sky and street/flagging. DP is from Ki-Memories and Making Memories. CS is DCWV and Bazzill. After coloring I added Stickles (Frosted Lace) for a snowy effect on the walls corner stones and flagging. Tildas wings where also highlighted with Stickles (Diamond). To give the coats trim a real plush look I've added Flower Soft (Ivory) to it. Sewing was done with my machine. Prima flowers, ribbon, half-pearls, decorative safety pin and snowman charm are the embellies I've used. On the inside I've also used Spellbinders Fancy Tags & Labels 3 and a SU! stamp (sentiment and little snowflakes).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hier bin ich wieder mit meinem 2. posting fuer heute. :-) Diese Karte ist mein Beitrag fuer die letzte Challenge in diesem Jahr bei Stampartic. Das Challenge Thema heisst maskieren und naehen/sticken. Der Preis den es zu gewinnen gibt ist der tolle Stampartic Kalender den das DT gemacht hat! Der Kalender ist super klasse geworden!
Nun zu meiner Karte. Auch wenn ich ein Motv aus der diesjaehrigen Weihnachtskollektion von Magnolia verwedet habe ist meine Karte keine typische Weihnachtskarte, mehr eine Winterkarte und fuer verschiedene Anlaesse geeignet. Extra habe ich keine klassischen Weihnachtsfarben verwendet. Ich habe das Magnolia Motiv Tilda Singing Carole's" und den Alota Stempel "Window/Wall" in der Maskierungs-Technik zu einem Bild zusammen gefuegt. Coloriert habe ich mit Copic Stiften und mit dem Copic Airbrush System fuer die Hauswand, Himmel und Pflastersteine. DP ist von Ki-Memories und Making Memories. CS ist von DCWV und Bazzill. Um einen Schnee-Effekt auf den Pflastersteinen und kantensteinen des Hauses zu erzielen habe ich Stickles 'Frosted Lace' benutzt. Tildas Fluegel habe ich mit Diamond Stickles akzentuiert. Und damit Tildas Plueschbesatz so richtig flauschig aussieht habe ich dafuer Flower Soft in 'Ivory' verwendet. Genaeht habe ich mit der Maschine. Verziert habe ich mit Halbperlen, Band, Schneemann Charm und Prima Flowers. Auf der Innenseite habe ich Spellbinders Fancy Tag, Labels 3 und einen SU! Stempel, fuer den Text und kleinen Schneeflocken, verwendet.
I also decorated the back this time...yay! ...lol ;-)
