Happy Anniversary & VACATION!!! :-)

Image
Hello all and thanks for stopping by and visiting me here today! This will be my last post for approx. the next 3-4 weeks. Vacation time...woohoo! :-) I'm so looking forward to it and it's also nice to give my creative mojo a rest ;-) The card I want to show to you today was made to order. It's an anniversary card and the couple who's celebrating love's red. so I did my best using lots of red ;-) The image is from Magnolias 'Wedding Collection' and I colored it using Distress Inks this time. I"ve stamped onto 300g /140lb hot press watercolor paper with Archival Ink black. I also used Magnolia Doo Hickey dies (tag, swirls and border) and punches from MS (heart and heart border (visible in first picture on the back of the envelope)) The papers are Basic Grey (DP) and Bazzill (CS). I'll list the colors I've used at the end of this posting. The flowers are from Whimsy stamps and the chandelier crystals from Michels (wedding se

ISB Challenge #32 - Dots

Image
Hi all and thanks for dropping in today! Sunday = Challenge time! Yay it's time for our 32nd ISB Challenge . And today it is getting dotty ! Yes let's see some dots on your cards! I chose to make a Halloween card using this super cute Belles 'n Whistles witch! I colored her with my Copics and kept the whole card pretty simple this time. I followed the sketch at MMSC and this time I went for the clean and simple version of Priscilla's sketch. The DP I've used is Eerie from Basic Grey and the sentiment is from Alota. So come and play with us this DOTTY challenge over at the ISB-Challenge blog . We love to see what you come up with! And while you are there don't forget to visit my fellow DT sisters blogs and their awesome dotty creations!! Love & hugs,

Christmassy Friday - BNW DT

Image
Hi Everyone And A Happy Friday - even if it is Friday the 13th...LOL! Are you superstitious? Well in some cases I am but not with Friday the 13th! :-) The card I am showing you today is a Christmas card...yes Christmas in August! I try to get started on my Christmas cards early this year. What about you? Did you already get a head start on your cards as well?  So I thought I make it a Christmassy Friday here :-) I actually have this card done quite a few days but due to a lot of  mishaps and me having a terrible headache for 3 days I was not able to show it earlier....phew sometimes everything happens together. I used the lovely stamp 'Two Turtle Doves' from last years Belles 'n Whistles Christmas collectin for my card and colored her using my Coipcs. The DP I've used is from last years Basic Grey's Christmas collection. Here is a close up on the image. I also did some airbrushing it. I really love the color combinations on the design paper and had so muc

Image
Happy Monday and a great start into the new week! You know what's happening Monday's, don't you? Yes, it's Belles 'n Whistles Challenge time and your chance to win a Belles 'n Whistles stamp of your choice! Of course only if you participate in our challenge ;-) Our wonderfully talented Rosette is hosting this weeks challenge and she has a color challenge for you: All shades of Purple / Lilac / Violet Aren't these great colors? I love them! And I had tons of fun working on my card and coloring my sweet image 'A Child's Prayer' . I colored Belle using my Copics and choose to go with a different format of my card. This time it's a rectangular card 5x7 and not square as my usual cards are. I also used the sketch from MMSC # 65 to create my card. The DP is from 'Little Yellow Bicycle' called Zinnia. CS is Bazzill and Best Occasion. The border is made using the 'Magnolia Doo Hickey' border die. I also did a little a

6. Lovely hAnglar Only Challenge - Warm Wishes

Image
Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend was fabulous so far! It is time for a new lovely hAnglar only challenge and it's our lovely Ilona who is hosting the challenge this time. She decided to make it a color challenge and picked the colors PINK & GREY Gorgeous color combination and just perfect for our little hAnglar sweeties, don't you think so? I decided to make a Winter/Christmas card. Well this is not the card I intended to show you on Friday. I made another one but unfortunately was not able to upload it due to a few chaotic days here *sigh* I'll show it you on Tuesday, as for tomorrow I have my BNW challenge card to show ;-)  Ok now onto my hAnglar card. I chose this sweet holiday image and colored it with my Copics. I'll add a photo of the Copics I used at the end of this posting. The poinsettia is a die from Bosskut and the swirls are cut with a Magnolia Doo Hickey die. The sentiment is from my stash, sorry don't know the make anymore I used

Menu - Name Tags & Napkin Rings

Image
Happy Wednesday to all of you! I had to make menu cards, place cards and napkin rings for an order and that is what I came up with. I combined the menu card and place cards into one piece that is supposed to be inserted into the napkin pocket (napkin was folded in pocket style). The colors where chosen after the customers dishes (white)  & napkins ( ruby w/  gold & white). As I don't have ruby colored napkins I chose black for demonstrating purposes. The stamp used on the napkin ring is from Magnolia and everything else is generated on the computer And here is the whole lot, I made 26 sets. Something different and no coloring inviolved at all ;-) Have a nice day and I hope to see you back here on Friday when I'll have my first Christmas card to show for this season... YAY!  :-D Hugs,
