Yellows and Blues - Graph'It Challenge

Hello Everyone and welcome to a new Graph'It Color Challenge - Spring inspired yellows and blues! What a great color combo to start thinking spring! I used Dolly Daydream from the NEW Dolly Daydream Girl Talk CD - available HERE

Isn't she sassy? I loved coloring her! Finally I got me some brush nibs for my Graph'It's and what shall I say ... it's like a dream come true...LOL. I promised I was giving you an update on how I like these markers down the road and I can say I'm still very impressed! Now that I have brush nibs on all my skin tones it really is a charm! I new it would be great but honestly the blending abilities are beyond my expectations. The juiciness is one thing but how the colors are 'melting together' so easily, so smooth and even without any lines is absolutely amazing! BTW this is my judgement based on my experience with these markers and not because I'm happen to be on the DT - just saying!

  Colors used:
Skin/Lips: 4125, 4155, 4170, 4180, 4135, 5210, 5220
Blues: 7160, 7155, 7140
Golden-Yellow: 4110, 1210, 1230, 2130
Hair: 3180, 3170, 3130, 4180, 4155, 4115

I hope I could inspire you to come and play along in this weeks challenge over at the Graph'It Color Challenge blog. While there check out the amazing creations from my teamies!!

Luv & Hugs,

Graph'It Color Challenge - Vintage Polka Dots

Happy Black Friday Everyone! I hope you all here in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Are you going to do some Black Friday shopping? I know I wont go anywhere today - LOL. I never go out on Black Friday. I just don't like crowds and crazy shopping people. I'm planning on doing all my Christmas decoration inside the house today and get me my poinsettias tomorrow for my outside decorations.

Today a new Graph' It Color Challenge starts and the theme this week is Vintage and Polka Dots. Show us your vintage creations incorporating polka dots. And this is what I came up with:

This cute guy is called Snowy and can be found on the Polkadoodles 'A Home For Christmas' CD. The list of markers I've used is posted beneath the next photo. Sentiment and snowflake die is from Whimsy. The little wooden snowflakes are from Prima's Junkyard Findings collection. Flowers are from WOC and Prima. The Weathered Clock die is from Sizzix by Tim Holtz. Other embellies I used are lace tape, metal embellishments, German glass glitter, pearls, Gesso, Snow Tex and Shabby White Embossing Enamel.
