Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone! Here comes my last card for this month and of course it has to be a spooky one. I am using several of the new Halloween products Whimsy released this year. I've listed them all further down and a click will take you to the actual product in the store.

I started out by creating a light violet slimline card base (8.5' x 3.5', vertical top fold). Then I die cut the Slimline Hill House die from black cardstock and adhered it to my card front using liquid glue. And voila I had a spooky background within minutes.

At that point I still had no clue what stamp I wanted to use and after going through all my Halloween stamps I decided on this 'Dead Dolly' clear stamp set.....they freak me out....LOL
Dolls and Clowns are not my friends! Even as a child I hated dolls, never wanted to play with them. All the dolls I had were converted into something else and my doll's pram was repurposed into a tank, hahaha. Yep, I preferred cars, military toys, cowboy stuff and lots of stuffed animals over all girly things, I was a total tomboy.

Ok so onto my card, I stamped my images onto Bristol smooth cardstock with Versafine black ink. This time I colored using Peerless watercolors. When I was done coloring I cut out the images.

Then I stamped the word Halloween from the Slimline Vertical Sentiments onto a piece of vellum paper using black Stazon pigment ink. I die cut the bat and the spider from black glitter paper using the Spooky large word die and the ghosts from white shimmer cardstock using the Boo die set.

I arranged all the elements on my card front and when I was satisfied with how it looked I adhered them with foam squares and dots to add some dimension to my card. A few confetti sequins and rhinestones here and there and my card was done!

Thanks for visiting me here today. Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Hugs,
