Burst of Colors

Hello Fellow Stampers and Crafters ! Today I'd like to show you a card I made for the ongoing Whimsy Inspirations Challenge . The theme is 'Add Some Metal'. And there are some yummy prizes up for grabs, so make sure to check all the details on the challenge blog! I used the new Seed Packet die and matching Vintage Seed Packet 2 sentiments. I stamped the sentiment onto craft card stock and cut it out with the Seed Packet die. I then arranged the flowers and vine swirls so it looks like they are growing out of the seed packet. Added some rhinestone swirls, metal charms and bakers twine and the card was done. This makes really for a quick card! The DP I've used is from the new Whimsy Designer Paper ' Easter Eggstravaganza ' and the corner accents are cut out with one of the 'Corner Dies' . Hello and welcome to Day 5 of Whimsy Stamps February Rubber & Die Release Showcase !  On Wednesday (20 February) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs and new Shape EZ templates. From then until 26 February the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guest are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop! No colored image here today. Instead I used the Bingo Card and Sentiment set. I stamped it onto water color paper using Memento Espresso Truffle ink. Papers are from an older Basic Grey collection called 'Hello Luscious'. Swirl die is from Magnolia. Flowers are Prima and WOC. Rhinestone swirl is from Want 2 Scrap and all other embellies are from my stash. Hello Everyone! As I'm super busy at the moment with my next assignment for Dutch Paper Crafts, the new Whimsy release ( Tomorrow!!! ), next Whimsy magazine and a couple of GD projects for March (woohoo I'm so excited but can't tell you yet ;-) ) I have to show you an older card I made already in fall last year. It was published in the Whimsy magazine October issue (issue 10). So please forgive me for showing a Christmas card today ;-) The stamp I used here is called 'Santa & Teddy Portrait' and the tag is from the 'Vintage Holiday Gift Tags' . Papers are from the Whimsy Designer Papers 'Winter Blues' by Michele Roos. I colored the image using Copic's and also did some paper piecing. Happy Valentines Day Everyone! Hope you all have a day full of LOVE-liness today! :)  Sorry I'm a day late with posting the second part of my  Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms Release creations for DutchPaperCrafts . But now here they are: On this card I used the Heartfelt Creations TatteredBlossom Swirl  pre-cut Stamp Set HCPC3469 as well as the Tattered Blossoms Die  HCD 722 . Sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Friendship Notables 2 and cut out with a Whimsy Shapeology die Notables 2. Other dies used are from Spellbinders - floral ovals and classic ovals. As usual the image was colored using Copics. On the inside I stamped a smaller Tattered Blossom Swirl image to complement the outside. As for my second card I used the collage stamp from the Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossom Set HCPC 3471. I used heavy cardstock in shimmery brown for the base, bling cardstock in antique pink as layer and Arjo Wiggins curious iridescent ivo

Happy Thursday all! My card today shows one of Whimsy's new January releases - Dreamy Dragon by Sylvia Zet. He's just a perfect image for a romantic style card together with the new Shapeology die Lace Doily Corner 1 and the Whimsy designer paper collection In the Garden by Michele Roos. I colored the little fella with my Copics  and the outline was done with a Prisma pencil. The sentiment is from the Simple Everyday Greetings . I also used a tag die from the Gift Tag die set, a Marianne Design die (ivy) LR0206 and flowers from Whimsy Buds and WOC. This card has been sold, thanks so much!
