Hello all and Happy Hump-Day!!! Woohoo it's Candy Time Today!! As it is the 4th Wednesday of a month it's time for my Whimsy Wednesday Giveaway !  But before I come to the details of the candy I like to show you a card I made with one of the newly released Whimsy stamps from the Chrissy Armstrong Collection . This is 'Valerie's Spring Rain' , isn't she a sweetie? Once again I colored with my pencils and OMS. The DP is from My Minds Eye's 'Wild Asparagus' Collection. I was so lucky and found a 180 sheet, 12x12 paper pad for $10 in a local department store. I got me the same size pad from the "Magnolia" collection as well :-) I just love the MME papers.  I added lots of Stickles to Valerie's umbrella for some glitz. The dies I used are from Spellbinders, Label dies. Sorry don't know what # they are. Ok, so I don't keep you waiting any longer! Here are the details about the candy and what you have to do to win! Each week

Darling Dasies CAS - Whimsy DT

Happy Thursday all! Hope you are all well and looking forward to a great weekend! Just one more day to go, hehe =). I hope to spent some time this weekend at the beach. Forecast says it's going to be nice. Looking forward to a nice long walk....I so enjoy walking on the beach. It clears my mind and is totally relaxing.   For my card today I used one of the new and aswesome Whimsy rubber stamp sets called D arling Daisies from Chrissies collection . This is a fantastic set and was just the perfect stamp for my One Layer Card . This is very unusual and virgin soil for me but I so wanted to try this. And what is also new for me is to color on kraft CS. I used Pencils (I use Prismas, Colorsoft and Polychromos) & OMS. I saw this technique on a few blogs lately including my DT sister Ann's blog. And I loved the way it looked. I had to give it a try. And this is what my card looks like: The sentiment is also from the Darling Daisies set and the ribbon from my stash. But I had

Hello everyone and Happy Valentines Day! Today I will show my creation for the lovely-hAnglar-only challenge and tomorrow or Wednesday then my card for our new BnW Challenge . It's a real busy time for me right now so please excuse if my postings are a day or two late! I colored this hAnglar cutie with pencils and OMS. And our challenge this week is 'Take Two' so I added a mini hAnglar image as charm. I covered the colored mini image with 4 coats of UTEE and adhered it to the the bow. The DP is from 7 Gypsies. The circle birthday sentiment is from Whimsy . On the wings and around the image I added Stickles for some bling. Sorry for the bad quality of the photos but I was without my usual lighting and just had to use daylight. I like to enter this card into the following challenges: Cute Card Thurs

I Love to Dance!

Happy Saturday Everyone and thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are all doing well. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with plenty of sunshine hopefully. Little bit on the cooler side though but I don't mind as long as I can see the sun Just perfect for a trip to the flea market. The card I like to show you today is made using a LOTV stamp. I'm in love with this cute ballerina.  Isn't she the cutest. It's my first time with these cute stamps but I'm already fallen for them I think. She was colored with Copics and I added Stickles on her little anntena and on the floor. For even more glitz I dusted the image all around with super fine glitter from MS. The Border die I've used is from Magnolia and the circle die is a Nellie Snellen MultiFrame . The branch die is a Marianne Creatables. Flowers gems and pins are from my stash. The charm is from SCACD . The grossgrain ribbon is from my stash and the light pink grid mesh ribbon I found at Susanne

Hello friends! Welcome to Whimsy Sneak Peeks Day 5! Just one more day to go until our big release party for 16 (!) new Whimsy stamps , woohoo!!! Can't wait until tomorrow to celebrate with you all these fab images! So I thought I go ahead and participate in the last sneak peek day as well For my sneak peek today I chose another of the super cute soon-to-be-released Meljens Designs images , the 'Balloon Mouse'. This is such a fun image and a perfect go together with the brand new soon-to-be-available balloon dies ! And this is what I came up with: A more clean and simple card with bright designer papers (Basic Grey). The 'Balloon Mouse' was colored using my Copics. To embellish I only added some Platinum and Star Dust Stickles, a ribbon and some gems. The balloons were cut out using the new ' Balloon Dies' . First I stamped balloon shapes and the sentiment, also from a soon-to-be-released 'Balloon Styles' set, onto some DP. Then I cut them ou
