Lovely-hAnglar-Only Challenge #11 - Punches/Die Cuts

Image
Happy Sunday and Happy Halloween to everyone!  Today our 11th lovely-hAnglar-only challenge starts. The host this time is our wonderful talented Marina . She wants to see you use Punches / Die Cuts on your projects. Well that's nice and easy isn't it? So what are you waiting for, start punching :-) I colored my sweet hAnglar girl with bird house using my Copics and Prisma Color Pencils black and cool grays for adding deeper shadows. I never tried this technique before but I really do like it a lot I must say! The Prismas blend super nice and soft on top of the Copics and you can get very nice effects this way. The Poinsettas and the tree is cut out using my new Marianne Design dies. I got them from Dutch Paper Crafts and they are fabulous, as is Darlene's service! I love the Marianne Design dies as well as the Joy Craft dies and I am happy that I found an affordable source here in the US for them. I also used Martha Stewart punches as well as Punch Bunch and SU!

BnW Challenge - Trick or Treat me!

Image
Hello my dear visitors! Aaaah I'm late! Late with my challenge post for BnW's newest challenge which already started yesterday! This time it's our fabulous Gini who's hosting the challenge. She picked the theme: Trick or Treat me! And this is how she describes it in her own words what she wants to see from you: "I know you are probably getting sick of Halloween challenges, so I came up with something a little different. I would love for you to either "Trick Me" with your card (with hidden flaps, pockets, sliding cards...you get the idea) or "Treat Me " with an over the top gorgeous card! It's really simple and it doesn't have to have anything to do with Halloween. Just have fun!" Ok I decided   to go with a little tricky treat ;-) This is what my card looks from the outside : I used 'Christnas Hearth' from last years Christmas collection and right now available HERE! I colored it using my Copics. Sentiment is

Whimsy DT meets ISB Challenge

Image
Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! ISB challenge is going green! We want to see some 'Recycling' on your card/project. That means you must use recycled stuff on your card or alter something like an already used envelope or box etc. and recycle it this way! Easy peasy itsn't it? On my card I 'recycled' my ribbon, it came from a packaging as well as the snowflakes. They were cut out from an acetate sheet which was originally used as cover sheet in a box of chocolates ;-)  This cookie craving Santa is a Whimsy stamp and is called Santa's Midnight Snack. He is colored with Copics and was stamped onto X-Press It! blending cards using Memento Tuxedo Balck ink. The Sentiment and the Holiday Wish List are also available at Whimsy! I did some sewing with the machine and distressed around the edges using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. As I mentioned before I cut out the Snowflakes from a sheet of acetate using my Cricut and the 'Joy's of the seaso

Oh Christmas Tree ...

Image
Hi Everyone! My card I'd like to show to you today is, of course ;-), another Christmas card. The stamps I used this time are from the new Belles 'n Whistles Changeabelles collection available HERE ! The cute little boy stamp is called 'Wheeling By' and I put the little Christmas tree from the Holidays set onto his cart. . The DP is from Bo Bunny. The stars are cut out using a Spellbinders die and the snowflakes are made with a Cuttlebug die. I also did some stitching on the paper layers. I added X-mas Red Stickles to the stars and Star Dust around the image and sentiment (Martha Stewart). There is also 3D Paper Glaze added to the Christmas balls on the little tree. Oh yes and of course I colored hom with my Copic markers!   The sentiment on the inside is from Inkadinkado. Don't forget there are still a few days left to enter our challenge on our new BnW challenge blog HERE ! We would love to see your creations and you'll have the chance on winning

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I like to show you another Christmas card I made using this cute little 'icy' couple from Whimsy Stamps which I received in my DT package from Denise. Thank you so much  :-) This stamp, called 'Starry Night' , is from Whimsy's newly released Christmas stamps and it's designed by Crissy Armstrong. I used my Copics for coloring and it was stamped onto X-press it blending cards with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The DP is from Pebbles Ink - Snow Fun and the sentiment is also a Whimsy stamp from the new Holiday Ticket Sentiments which you can find HERE !  I used Stickles Star Dust and Arctic Ice for the shimmer effects around the image, stars and sentiment.  The little poinsettia flower was made using my new Nellie Snellen punch & emboss set These are the colors I used on the image. This card is also already sold to Dagmar B.  Thanks for your Christmas cards order sweetie! :-) Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day! Hu
