Time to Celebrate

Image
Hello ladies (and gents;-) ) My card today is using one of the Memory Box Debutante Frames which are now available to buy from Dutch Paper Crafts. Darlene put up a great video in which she shows you the dies in close up view and also more projects created with these dies. The cards I've created for the video will also be shown on my blog over the next couple of days. The frame around Tilda is made using the Debutante Frame (base) and the Twirly Vine frame (layered on top of the base frame). 'Flower Tilda' of course was colored with Copics and the DP is from Bo Bunny's Ambrosia collection. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Birthday Letter Seals. Embellies are all from my stash. A close up on the cute Tilda The inside was decorated to match the outside. Here I used the Vaudeville Frame and again the Debutante Frame as base Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Note Box

Happy TGIF everyone! This is going to be a short post today, I have looooots of stuff on my to-do-list but wanted to share this little note box with you. I got inspired by Beate , she has a great video tutorial  on her blog how to make these little note boxes. This was a gift I made a couple of weeks ago for a friend and now I can show it because I know she already got it :-)  The sentiment and die is from Whimsy stamps: Notables 4 Everyday Sayings and matching Notables 4 die . Cardstock is Bazzill and lace and adhesive pearl string is from my stash.   The flower stamp is from an older SU set and stamped with Distress Ink Milled Lavender. Yes I stamped every single sheet ;-) The cover sheet is made of thicker cardstock and I've added some pearls and Stickles to the image. Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend! Hugs,

Winter's Butterflies...

Hello all and Happy Tuesday! Yes I know I'm still posting pretty sporadically, sorry about that. This time it's not only summer time what's holding me off from crafting, also a nasty cold took me out a for few days and I'm still not over it. I also started reading a new book this morning and WOW what can I say it's gripping and captivating right from the first page and absolutely hard to turn down!  I know now you want to know what I'm reading, right? ;-) It's Blow Dart: The Abduction by Patricia Gayle. And yes Patricia is also one of my fellow DT sisters from Dutch Paper Crafts . She is not only a gifted writer she also makes beautifully and inspiring paper craft projects. You can visit her blog HERE and here's a LINK to her book site. But now onto my card for today...  Let it snow .... well not yet, LOL but on my card it's already winter :-) And it's also the name of this cute image from Whimsy's Wee Stamps collection. Thi

Treasured Moments

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Sorry for my lack of posting lately but I'm fully enjoying Summertime. Just not much creative energy in my body at the moment. Saturday I started coloring the new Wee Christmas digi 'Holly'   that Sylvia just released (soooooo cute!!) but so far I only managed to do the hair and skin...LOL - not much I know! Will see maybe later today.... Today's card was published in the newest Whimsy Inspirations Magazine. Which is now available in print in an exciting 84-page issue or as a smaller free digital version HERE . The image is from Whimsy 's Crissy Armstrong collection: 'Summer Garden & Sentiments' . I colored it using my Copics and the outline was done with Pencils. The rolled flowers were made using Washi tape and some of the die cuts were also dressed up with it. Was the first time for me to play with Washi tape and it was quite fun! You can get Washi tape here. Sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Des
