Well then lets move on to the next holiday after Christmas! :-) Of course...New Years! I am challenging you this time to create a New Year's Project . That can be everything: a card, a gift box, a bottle hanger for a champagne bottle, place cards for your New Years dinner etc. Just get creative! I decided to make a New Years Card and choose Skiing Snowbaby as my image. I colored her with Copics and then used the 'Cracked Glass Technique' to give it an antique look! I posted a tutorial today on our Belles 'n Whistles Inspirational Blog on how to do the cracked glass technique. You'll find all the details here:  'Tutorial Cracked Glass Technique' ! The DP is from Bo Bunny, the flowers are Prima and Petaloo. The sentiment is from a mini clear stamp set from Hamton A

ISB Challenge 40 - Card in a Box

Image
Hello friends and welcome to another ISB Challenge ! Our theme this time is Card in a Box ! This is a great way if you don't want to give 'just' a card. For my card I colored one of the new Belles 'n Whistles Snowbaby stamps called 'Snowbaby Snow Fight' with my Copics. The DP is from Bo Bunny and the Sentiment is from Whimsy and cut out with the new Whimsy Shapeology Ticket die. On the snowman I got wild with my Stickles :-) and the flowers are cut out using a Marianne Design Creatable die (Flower Fantasy). Boder punch is from SU! The sparkle brad is from Karen Foster Designs. Copic colors used for this image are: dark pink/bordeaux: RV69, RV39, R85, R83 - Jeans: B39, B37, B34 - Blues: B21,B23,B28 & B000, B0000 - Snowman & Snow: C00, C0, C1 &  BG99, BG93 - Hai

Some More CAS Cards - Whimsy

Image
Hello to you all! Today I like to show you two more cards I made in the clean & simple style (CAS) with the new Whimsy digital colored images . Both images are from Meljens (Melissa Jenkins) and you can find them in the Whimsy store HERE . I really love to use them for the CAS style and with these super adorable already colored images you can whip up a bunch of cards in a very short time frame! Ideal for all the Christmas cards that are still on your to do list ;-) I just used some matching card stock for the layers and cuttlebug embossing folders (snow dots & snow flakes) to give it a little more depth. Added matching ribbon and rhinestomes and done were my cards! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Hugs,
