Burst of Colors

Momentan sind die Penny Black Motive (Stempel) meine absoluten Favoriten. So auch dieses Motiv. Gestempelt, embossed und in 3D aufgebracht. Einige Teile des Motivs habe ich noch mit 3D Lack hervorgehoben (Napf, Nase und Halsband) . HG Papier wurde mit der Maschine aufgenaeht. Teile davon mit Watermark Ink bestempelt (Pfotenabdruecke rechts und auf der Innenseite) Ausgeschmueckt mit Papier-/ Stoffblumen, Brads, Band, Knoepfe (von Hand mit Silbergarn aufgenaeht), etc. Dazu passend: Umschlag und Innenseite Another favorite Penny Black image. The image (colored with water color pencils) is in layers to have it pop-up, heat embossed as well as glazed. I sew with the machine on this card and the charm and buttons are sewn on by hand. I used watermark ink for the paw stamp. Embelishments: paper and silk flowers, brads, buttons, charm. A matching envelope comes with the card.

Der kleine Igel im Topf ist ein penny Black Motiv das gestempelt wurde, ausgeschnitten und teilweise in 3D aufgebracht. Den Topf habe ich mit 3D-Lack ueberzogen. Die Schnoerkel sind mit der Cricut (Cartridge: Home Essentials) geschnitten. Der Zickzack ist genaeht und die Schnoerkel sowie die Papierblumen wurden mit Stickles Glitter Glue "clear" zum Funkeln gebracht. Isn't he cute? I love the little hedgehog sitting in the flower pot (Penny Black). The image is stamped and then heat embossed to raise the edges. Some parts of the image are poped up for a 3D look and glazed. The flourishes are cut with the Cricut (Cartridge: Home Essentials) I also sew on the card and used Stickels for glittering.

Diese Karte war fuer eine Bastelfreundin aus dem Bastelbuedchen (Forum) zum Geburtstag. Hier kam mal wieder meine geliebte Cricut zum Einsatz. I made this birthday card for a fellow crafter from a crafting forum. The die cuts and letters were made using my cricut.

Bei dieser Karte habe ich einen Penny Black Stempel benutzt und das gestempelte Motiv dann in 3D dargestellt (mehrere Lagen), damit es besser hervorgehoben wird. Zusaetzlich noch durch viele Extras verziert u.a. Glitter Glue, Knoepfe aufgenaeht, Anhaenger, 3D-Lack, Zickzack mit der Maschine genaeht, dry embossed, heat embossed usw. Das Motiv ist in der Aquarell-Technik coloriert. Dazu passend die Innenseite gestaltet und einen Umschlag. This is one of my more time consuming cards. I used a Penny Black stamp and poped up the image to creat a 3D effect as well as glazed some parts. I used a lot of embellishments like Stickles Glitter Glue, buttons, charms etc. I sew on this card, dry embossed and heat embossed. I colored the image using water color pencils. The inside of the card is decorated as well and there is a matching envelope.

Diese Karte habe ich in der Ink-Resist-Technik gemacht. D.h. das Motiv wird mit Embossingtinte gestempelt und dann mit Embossing Pulver heat embossed. Danach eingefaerbt mit Pastellkreide oder Tinte. Der Streifen im HG wurde erst dry embossed und danach noch heat embossed. A first try using the ink resist technique. Stamping and heat embossing an image. Color over it with chalks or ink and the embossed part of the image will resist the color from the chalks or ink. The brown paper strip in the back was first dry embossed and additional heat embossed.

Hier habe ich das Passepartout mit einer Mattie-Open-Passepartout-Schablone geschnitten, verschieden unterlegt, mit einem 3D Blumenmotiv abgerundet und verziert. On this card I cut the passepartout by hand using a 'Mattie-Open-Passepartout-Stencil' and a precision craft knife. Paper in different colors is then layered from the back. Embellished with a 3D Image, stickers, Stickels glitter glue and decorative pearls.

Hat mich schon lange gereizt eine Pop-up Karte zu machen. Folgende Techniken habe ich bei dieser Karte verwendet: Stempel, heat embossed, dry embossed, die cutting, Naehen mit der Maschine. Leider sind auf den Fotos die Farben etwas verfaelscht. I always wanted to try making a pop-up card.
