Dream Big! & Yummy Cupcakes!

Image
Hey Friends! Aren't Ellies just adorable? This little guy is from the recently released Elephantastic clear stamp set by Dustin Pike for Whimsy Stamps. I colored this cutie with my Derwent Inktense Blocks and Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush. I kept the design simple. I used the Sprinkles Scallops Rectangle die set to cut out my cardstock layers. To make the image pop I cut out the middle layer from a pink  sheet of the 6x6 Mix 'n Match 2 papers. The sentiment was stamped on two little tags that I cut out using the Bookmark & Tags die set. I used burlap string to attach them to the sheer pink  organza ribbon. 3 pink confetti sequins are the only embellishments in addition to the organza ribbon.  Here are two more cards I created using the Creative Cupcakes Quick Card Fronts (QCF's). All our QCF's make for fast, fun and easy cards! These cupcake QCFs are especially yummy and versatile for many occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. Just add som

A Cupcake & Happy Birthday Wishes

Here is another set of cards that can be created quite quickly with no coloring and minimal stamping involved. Some inspiration for all of you who do not enjoy stamping and/or coloring so much.  For the kraft card I used the Cupcakes die set to create my cupcake and cut out the hearts. Then I cut out my background panel with one of the 'Mix and Match Marquee' dies and dry embossed it with the 'Slimline Diagonal Dots Embossing Folder' to add texture. The sentiment from the 'Random Funny Food' sentiment set was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto printable glitter paper and cut out by hand. 2 dew drops finish off my card. Next up is a card created only with dies. I combined the 'Birthday Wishes Word and Shadow die set' with the A2 sized 'Happy Birthday Coverplate' die. I cut out the middle part of the 'Happy Birthday Coverplate' die and replaced it with a panel of designer paper from the '6x6 Calico paper pack'. Her

A bit Mixed Media and Birthday Wishes

Image
Hey friends!   Here are two of my Whimsy  design team creations from Aprils release which I haven't had time to share with you yet! Life just happened and threw me a curve. So I am trying to catch up now. First up is a mixed media card which I had so much fun creating. I used one of my stashed gelly prints as background panel. Then I added texture by using different inks and stamps (scroll down for a list of supplies used). The image is from the Slay the Day clear stamp set as is the sentiment. This clear stamp set was just screaming 'mixed-media' at me when I saw it 😁 On my second card I am showcasing one of Krista's clear stamp sets called Butterfly Wishes. I colored the images using watercolor markers and pencils. I combined the cute images with the Rectangle Shaker Maker die set and the Lattice A2 die. All products used are linked below.
