A bit Mixed Media and Birthday Wishes

Image
Hey friends!   Here are two of my Whimsy  design team creations from Aprils release which I haven't had time to share with you yet! Life just happened and threw me a curve. So I am trying to catch up now. First up is a mixed media card which I had so much fun creating. I used one of my stashed gelly prints as background panel. Then I added texture by using different inks and stamps (scroll down for a list of supplies used). The image is from the Slay the Day clear stamp set as is the sentiment. This clear stamp set was just screaming 'mixed-media' at me when I saw it 😁 On my second card I am showcasing one of Krista's clear stamp sets called Butterfly Wishes. I colored the images using watercolor markers and pencils. I combined the cute images with the Rectangle Shaker Maker die set and the Lattice A2 die. All products used are linked below. I used the So Weird clear stamp set together with earlier released products. All products I've used are listed below including links.  I started out with a kraft cardstock panel. First I've added white paint to distress the cardstock panel a bit. Then I started adding texture with the Harlequin stencil, texture paste and distress crayons. I also added scribbles and doodles using the Mixed Media Bits stamp set with black ink and a golden marker. Finally I've added golden, white and black splatters to the background. I distressed the pink Polaroid die-cut also with white paint, added a stamped doodle and brick wall also from the Mixed Media Bits stamp set. The focal point is the crow image from the So Weird stamp set which I stamped onto kraft cardstock and cut out using the Frame Labels die s
