Hello Whimsy-Fans! Have you seen that the Whimsy April release is available in the store? It's a lot about fashion and Paris! Here are two of my release inspirations. On the first one I used the awesome NEW Postmarks Background stamp and combined it with the NEW Fashion Accessories and NEW Fashion Dress Form die sets. On my second card I combined the Fabulous QCF with the  NEW Fashion Accessories dies Here is a link list of all items used: Whimsy Stamps Store This Calls For Confetti Store Other items used:     Thanks for stopping by today! Hello Beautiful ~ No-Line Watercoloring

Image
Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Tuesday! I have a cute card to share today where I am using the adorable Bunnies in the Garden stamp set from  Whimsy Stamps '  Crissy Armstrong Collection. It is a rather simple card where I put the focus on the images and the no-line watercolor technique. I first stamped the cute bunny image onto Strathmore 400 Series Mixed Media paper using a very light colored ink (I used Altenew Crisp Ink in Vanilla) . Then I used the coordinating No-Fuss Masks to cover my stamped image before stamping the FaDoodle Blooms in the background with the same ink. I used my ink based Karin Brush Marker Pro pens to color the images in the no-line watercolor technique. Usually I like to use a waterbrush together with the Karin markers but with the no-line technique I prefer a regular brush (I Used an Escoda round, size 2 brush). After I was done coloring I put the no-fuss mask back over the bunny image before sprinkling black and gold paint all over the images. Then

Pickleball Queen

Hey folks - Happy Tuesday! Are you into playing Pickleball or know someone who does?  Whimsy Stamps has a new Pickleball stamp as well as a new Pickleball die set in the store. It's super cute and here are two cards I made using both sets. Both cards are quickly made thanks to these awesome sets. I combined it with the NEW Mix and Match Scallop Rectangles to achieve a layered look. My embellishments - confetti sequins and crystals - are from my friend Lisa's store 'This Calls For Confetti' . Bee Cute - Whimsy Stamps Mini Release Quick Card Fronts

Image
Happy April Fools Day! Not fooling around here though! There is a super cute mini release today at Whimsy Stamps and these super cute Quick Card Fronts - Bee Cute are available in the store now. As well as a brand new set of nesting Mix and Match Marquee dies. They are a perfect match with these new Quick Card Fronts and give you tons of options. I have two examples to share today using both of the new products. My first card is a bit more lavish. When I saw this cute image I knew I wanted to use mulberry flowers with it. I still have boxes full of these pretty flowers from when I did more of the shabby chic style of cards. So it was a nice change to dig through all the pretty flowers once again and pick matching ones for my card and then start decorating it.  I actually just wanted to show you how versatile these QCF's are and that they go with every card style. May it be clean and simple like my second card or more sumptuous like the first card here. Your options with th
