Burst of Colors

  Happy TGIF everyone! Looking forward to a wonderful weekend? I know I am.... I'm expecting the delivery of my Kindle 3 today. So I know what I am going to do on the weekend...LOL. It's supposed to be nice and sunny here on the weekend so I hope I can sit on my porch and immerse in my novels The card I like to show you today is a wedding card I made to order. The requirements were a Magnolia card in a box, the colors cream, pink and gold as well as no flowers. And this is what I came up with: I colored Tilda and Edwin (from the wedding collection) with Distress Inks. They were stamped with Archival Ink Black Onyx onto 140lb/300g hot pressed watercolor paper. The papers I used are from Basic Grey, K & Company, ........ The butterfly is from Prima. The circle dies used are from Spellbinders. and the border die is from Magnolia. The heart is chipboard colored with distress crackle paint 'Picket Fence'. Sentiment is from SU! Hello fellow crafters and welcome to another Pixie Cottage Challenge ! It's round three for me as GDT for the Pixie Cottage Challenge. This weeks theme is LOVE ! How perfect with Valentines Day just around the corner! When I saw this stamps I knew it would be perfect for Valentine, it's called Valentine Hannah by Sandra Hammer . I decided to make an Easel-Card this time. I colored Hannah using Copics. The DP is from Basic Grey. Sentiments are from Whimsy (Love Letter Seal) and Magnolia. Dies & Punches I used are from Spellbinders, Magnolia and MS, EK Success and Marianne Design. Flowers and all other embellies are from my stash.   And because it is always difficult to fit easel cards into envelopes I made a matching box for the card. When I had all that done I thought how nice it would be to have a matching smaller box for a little gift or some candy to go with the card. Hello and Happy Monday to you all! It's Monday and start of a new fortnightly BnW Challenge ! Our lovely Anki is our host today and she decided she's had enough of Winter...LOL. So she challenged us to create 'Anything But Winter' For my DT creation I used this sleeping cutie from last years 'Forever Young' Collection and colored the image using Copics. The sentiment is from Whimsy ' s digital 'Love Sentiments' and I thought it's a wonderful fit for this cutie pie. DP is from my stash and I kept it clean and simple once again. Just added 2 buttons and a ribbon, that's it! To complete the card I also finished the inside.   I hope you like to join in the fun over at our  BnW Challenge Blog! Welcome all to another fortnightly lovely-hAnglar-only challenge ! Have you all had a fab weekend so far? I enjoyed the nice weather yesterday and took a long walk with my doggies. And today I'm looking forward to a crafty afternoon :-) It's my turn today to host our LHO challenge and I thought why not make it super easy this time?! So the theme I picked for you is: Anything Goes! He, he, can't get any easier can it? So the only rule is to use a hAnglar and stAnglar stamp and you can create away! :-) And this is what I came up with:   I'm all about Valentine already :-)  I colored this hAnglar flicka with my distress inks and again I used some fab digi DP from Nitwit. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Love Letter Seals . The sketch I used is from Mojo Monday's #173.
