ISB Challenge 18 - Love and Hearts

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to our 18th ISB Challenge . This time it's a theme challenge again: "Love & Hearts". We want you to create something with hearts, maybe for Valentine? This is not limited to cards, so get creative and let your creative juices flow. There are fantastic inspiring creations by my fellow DT sisters, make sure you visit their blogs (see sidebar). You have time to enter the challenge until  Saturday February 13th 6pm CET. Make sure you check our challenge blog a little later today (the new challenge and the winner of  the last challenge will be posted a little later today) to see what awesome prize Ilona has to offer this time. I decided to make a Heart-Window card. I cut this card out using my Cricut and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge. This is also the Valentines card I like to give to my husband. I did not go with the usual red and pink colors. I got inspired by some papers from the new Basic Grey 'Sugar Rush' collection. Im

ROP DT - Butterfly Birthday

Image
Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! The card I like to show you today is a birthday card I made by order. I used 'Tilda as Butterfly' from Magnolias Chasing Butterfly Collection. This is one fun image to color and as usual I colored her with my Copics and used some Shimmerz paint on the wings. I also had a chance to use my new butterfly border punch from Martha Stewart which I found recently on sale in my local craft store . I have to say I already love this punch. Some of the butterflies are not punched out completely so you can push them up for a 3D effect. For the tag on the inside I used part of the oval fancy tag from Spellbinders and cut it out twice in dark blue and pink. Then layered the swirls for a shadow effect. Sentiments are computer generated. I dcorated with buttons, Stickles , tiny half-pearls and leftover butterflies from punching the border. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hallo und einen schoenen Mittwoch Euch allen! Die Karte die ich Euch heute zeige ist ein

Belles 'n Whistles DT - Birthday Calendar

Image
Hello and Happy Hump Day all! Are you like me? Forgetting birthdays all the time? Ooohh let me tell you I'm so bad with remembering birthdays *sigh* I had a wonderful Birthday Calendar once but since my last move it is lost....and so am I without it *lol* But I hope not any longer because the Belles 'n Whistles DT came up with the great idea to make a Birthday Calendar. Each month on the 20th (or the next week day if the 20th is on a weekend) we are showing birthday calendar page samples on the Belles 'n Whistles blog . We've also created a template for you to use if you like to join us. In the sidebar on the Belles 'n Whistles blog you'll find a link to download the template (PDF). Ok here comes my page for the month of January. I printed the template on 110 lb card stock and chose Belles Carols for my image. She is now singing Happy Birthday instead of Christmas Carols ;-) I colored her using my Copics and airbrushed the background of the image as well as ar
