Goooooooal!!!

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday! This card was a special request. It's for a soccer fanatic and I had to use the team colors - black & yellow. Ahhh that was quite a challenge as this is not my fav color combo and soccer is so not my sport...LOL. But I'm quite pleased with the result :-) I hope my friend who ordered the card and the recipient will like it as well!

The little soccer player is from The Greeting Farm, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Whimsy's Birthday Letter seals. The charm was made using a sticker and lots of UTEE. All other embellies are from my stash.

I decorated the inside to match the outside.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful day!

ISB - Challenge # 30 - Clean & Simple

Welcome to our 30th ISB Challenge! This time we want to see your projects 'clean & simple'. I had an order for a gents card and I thought this theme would be perfect for it. So I chose the cute 'My Guy Ian' image from TGF and colored him using my Copis. The paper is from Basic Grey's collection Max & Whiskers and so perfect for a male card, don't you think so?

The sentiment is from Catslife Press and the corner punch is from SU! On the sentiment I added the 50.

I also decorated the inside and finally I had the chance on using my new Tim Holtz 'Ticket Strip Die'. The Whimsy 'Ticket Sentiments' are just perfect for the Tim Holtz ticket die.  I love 'em both! :-)

I hope you like my version of  'clean & simple' and I'm looking forward seeing you over at our ISB Challenge blog!  And don't forget to check out my fellow DT sisters blogs and their fantastic creations for this challenge!

Thanks for visiting me today and have a fab day!

Just a Hello!

Are you enjoying the nice weather? I certainly do! I was doing lots of garden work lately and now our yard is almost ready for spring, finally =) And because of it we are going to have a BBQ tonight! I love BBQ's, do you?

My card today I already made 2 weeks ago. This Miss Anya stamp from the Greeting Farm is one of my favorites from the Miss Anya collections. I  colored her using my Copics. The papers I've used are from Basic Grey. I also used Retro Flower Punch medium and large and Spellbinders Nesties. I like the bright and bold colors and it was a lot of fun making this card. Hope you like it too =)

Oh yes and BTW! I just saw that I am about to hit 35.000 visitors soon. That definitely calls for some blog candy ..... so make sure you check back often and don't miss my candy. It is kind of a surprise this time..... and there will also be a bonus prize but you'll have to do something in order to be eligible for the bonus prize drawing...hehe but I'm not telling you anything more right now .... Just be on the look out ...

Thanks for stopping by!

Layers, Layers, Layers - New ROP / BNW Challenge

Hello friends and thanks for visiting me here today! It's Monday and time for a new fortnightly challenge at our Roses on Paper & Belles 'n Whistles combined challenge blog! The extraordinary talented Jodi is our hostess this time and she wants to see a Birthday Card & Layers! I LOVE layers and this is definitely my comfort zone, thanks Jodi :-) For all the details and what great prize Summer has to offer this time visit our challenge blog HERE. The challege will be posted during the course of the day!

Ok I have to admit my card has lots of layers but is not necessarily a birthday card.... LOL. But thanks Jodi for accepting it anyway ;-) I decided to make an Easel-Card and I used 'Traveler Anya' from the Greeting Farm and the 'Eiffel Tower' stamp from an older Magnolia collection and colored the images using my Copics and my Copic airbrush system. A list of Copic colors used is at the end of this posting. The DP I've used is from Basic Grey (green at heart & porcelaine collections) and my CS is Bazzill. The flowers are from Prima, punched out and my stash. The sentiment 'Bon Voyage'  is computer generated and the other sentiments and the littel Eiffel Tower stamp is from a Stampin Up collection called "Paris in the Spring". For highlights and decorating I used half-pearls, ribbon, Stickles , sewing with the machine and a heart shaped rhinestone on top of the Eiffel Tower ;-)
My card also fits for the first challenge at The Crafty Alley, where the challenge theme is 'sewing'.

Roses on Paper & Belles 'n Whistles Challenge # 32 - Cool Dude

Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday! Uuuuhhh I know I'm terribly late with my ROP/BNW Challenge posting this time. We are doing some remodeling in the house and are having family visiting from Germany at the same time. That means my crafting time right now is very limited.... But I finally finished my card for our 32nd RoP / BnW Challenge hosted by our sweet and super talented Anki! Anki wants us to create a masculine card, a card for a boy or man! What a great idea Anki ;-) My Dad's birthday is coming up on March 11th, what a wonderful timing. So this will be his birthday card :-) I love this My Guy Ian stamp from The Greeting Farm. And it's actually the perfect stamp for my dad's card as they do look a like a lot...hehe.
Well yes my dad's a little older but otherwise... pretty close ;-)
Ian is colored with Copics. The papers I used are from Bo Bunny (DP) and Bazzill (CS). I was asked what I use for my card base. I always use 110 lb white cardstock. For decorations I used buttons, half-pealrs, ribbon & an antique copper grommet. The punches I used are from Martha Stewar, tag is a Spellbinders die and the Sentiment stamp is from the My Guy Ian set.
Hope to see you at our challenge blog joining our challenge! Looking forward to all your creations!
