Image
Hello All & Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps and Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Collaboration! Whimsy Stamps is proud to be part of this years SimonSaysStamp Stamptember. This adorable Happy Pugmas clear stamp set or the Happy Pugmas clear stamp and matching die set  are exclusively available at the SimonSaysStamp Stamptember event and only while supplies last! These will not last long. Make sure you secure your stamp and die set as soon as you can before they are all gone! Here is some inspiration for you: I stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto heavy duty mixed media paper and colored using Peerless watercolors. For the background panel I used Distress Oxide inks and the Slimline Birthday Scallops, Paws and Bones Border die set as well as the Puppy Paws background stamp which I clear heat embossed. Whimsy Stamps Mini Release and Peerless Watercolor Review

Image
Happy Sunday and Welcome to Whimsy Stamps 3rd September Mini Release! My card showcases the utterly adorable Birfday Dragons illustrated by Dustin Pike. OMG isn't this guy the cutest??? I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Strathmore heavyweight mixed media paper. I also used the Slimline Birthday Scallops dies and Pierced and Stitched Circles dies. I made the Slimline Birthday Scallops dies to fit my A2 sized card to show how versatile they are and by no means only for slimeline creations. I added a few no-holes sequins to embellish my card. My first impression about my newest watercolor paint addition - Peerless Watercolors I recently received my first peerless watercolors and gave them a go coloring this image (and a few others). They are not really new, been around quite a while but they are new to me! I definitely like how bright some of the colors are. Others are a bit too translucent for my taste and have close to none pigment on those small strips

Welcome to another Mini-Release from Whimsy Stamps!  It's all about Halloween again *spooky*. My first card was created using the NEW Monster Parade die set together with the Spook y large word die, Build a Graveyard die set (bats only) and A2 Wonky Window 3 die. Psssssst, the awesome paper for my BG is from a paper pack that will be released a bit later this month, so keep your eyes peeled! This card was created with dies only, no stamping involved. The second card I want to share is made very quickly. I used the fabulous NEW Halloween Expressions stencil. The sentiment is from the NEW Spirited Sentiments set. I chose a layering cardstock that matches the color I used for the sponged face and added black half pearls to the eyes and my card was done!  Here is a list of all Whimsy products used:                       Thanks for visiting me here today and make sure to check out the  Whimsy Inspiration FB group  for more awesome inspiration from the fabulous Whimsy Team! Here is another Halloween creation I made with some of the newly released as well as older products. This cute kitty is called 'Spooky Kitty' and is from the Dustin Pike collection. I colored her with Karin markers. The background is made using a designer paper sheet which will be released later this month, so keep your eyes peeled. ;-) I also added die cuts -  little ghosts and more bats as well as an A2 sized window frame called Wonky Window 1. All products are linked below. Whimsy products used:              Thanks for your visit today. Be safe and stay healthy! Hugs,

Halloween Greetings - Whimsy September 1st Release

Image
Happy Tuesday & Welcome to Whimsy Stamps September 1st Release!   It is getting spooky! For all you Halloween lovers, there are several awesome spooky stamps and dies in this release. Here is my inspiration on how to use the Build a Graveyard die set . This die set is total awesomeness. I decided to combine it with some older Whimsy stencils which I used to create some texture on my background. First I used Distress Oxide sprays and inks on my background and after they've dried I added a flock of bats using black Paper Glaze and parts of a brick wall with texture paste and distress ink. I created the scene using the die cuts and some cheese cloth which I treated with Distress Oxide sprays and Distress Glaze.  Here is a list of all Whimsy products used:                      Thanks for visiting me here today and make sure to check out the Whimsy Inspiration FB group for lots of inspiration from the awesome Whimsy team!
