Haenglar - Happy Birthday!

ROP DT - The Greeting Farm Fairies - Coming soon to Roses on Paper!

Sorry for not posting that much lately, I got friends here visiting from Germany so I'm away on sightseeing or shopping tours most of the days. But I managed to finish this card with the cute fairy Chloe! Isn't she just the sweetest? She is one of three absolutely adorable faries from The Greeting Farm. The fairies Chloe, Tink and Eva will be soon available at Roses on Paper as well as 2 more sets (Forest Friends and Wild Things) and Skater Ian. ROP Challenge #8 - A Quilt Card!

Wow what a week. I was soooo busy the whole week had no time for crafting whatsoever boohoo :-(. But maybe tonight I'll find some time to finish one or two cards...hopefully! Farmer Anya meets "A Spoon Full of Sugar" challenge

Today's card I made for the " A Spoon Full of Sugar " challenge. This weeks theme is "Torn Edges"....what a great challenge, I had real fun creating my card and think that torn edges always are giving a nice detail! And I also thought my new Farmer Anya from The Greeting Farm would make a great image to go with the torn edges as well as the new paper "Marakech" from Basic Grey! These are two of my newest additions to my Greeting Farm and paper collection which I got from Summer's store Roses on Paper ! Decorating a Candle Using Stamped Images

Materials needed: - stamp - stamp pad - candle - tissue paper - wax paper - preferred coloring medium - small scissors - glue stick - heat gun / embossing tool - preferred embellishments Some tips: White or cream candles are best and also a good quality candle makes working in this technique much easier. I prefer to use colored pencils and gamsol with this technique. But you can also use e.g. distress inks , markers, etc. Sample for embellishments you can use: stickles glitter glue , adhesive pearls, dew drops , prima flowers , brads , ribbon, etc. First choose your stamp (make sure it will fit on the candle!) and stamp your image on the tissue paper. I used table top flowers from the Alota Easter collection available at Roses on Paper . And as I only would like to use the vase with the flowers I didn't ink my whole stamp. Now get started and color your image! Cut out as close as you can to your image without damaging it. Don't worry ab
