Merry Christmas To All - Full Front Shaker Card

Image
I can not wait to start decorating our house for Christmas. My absolute favorite time of the year! I always start early and never wait until Thanksgiving is over. (I know some will cry out loud now but sorry just not my family tradition). With being raised in Germany the German Thanksgiving is in October already so tradition in our house always was starting Christmas decorations around the 11th of November when we celebrate St. Martin's Day. I keep this tradition and start decorating usually on the 10th/11th. πŸ˜ƒ On my card today I used the NEW ATC Vintage Christmas clear stamp set and instead of creating an ATC I used the sleigh stamp from the set on a card. I inked my background with Distress inks and a Whimsy blending brush. The moon was cut out from silver cardstock using the moon die from the Howling Night die set. Then I stamped the sleigh image and added the snow with a gel pen.  I decided to make it a shaker card and used a A2 sized Full Front Shaker Pocket from This Ca

*** For The Whimsy Spooktacular Blog Hop Click Here *** Hello & Happy Sunday! This card brings autumn vibes even here in Florida. I am using the Gourds and Pumpkins clear stamp set released earlier this month together with an oldie but goodie die, the Slimline Marquee die. For the background I used a sheet of the wonderful Autumn Hues 6x6 paper pack. The Sentiment which is included with the  Gourds and Pumpkins clear stamp set  was cut out using the Quick Strips die set.  Thanks for stopping by.

Potions Cupboard

I have some catching up to do with my posts. This month was quite chaotic and I am a bit behind. First Ian messed up things tremendously and than a nasty cold was holding me back. But now without further ado ... here is a Halloween card I made with an awesome stamp called Potions Cupboard. It was released earlier this month and is available in the  Whimsy store   here . I kept my card simple as this stamp is pretty busy and full of spooky things to explore. A black see through organza ribbon and the EEK large word and shadow die are the only decorations I used. Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Wishes

Hello All & Happy Monday! Here is another Christmas card using products from the October releases. Products used on my card can be found in the Whimsy store . I decided on non-traditional colors for my card. The background paper I used is from the Flurry Blurries 6x6 paper pack and I just love the purple shades. For my snow globe filling and image I added a touch of green to make it stand out a bit from the all the purple. And of course the gingerbread man is a different color as well. Below is a list with product links used on my project. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

Santa's Sleigh

Hello Friends! Sorry for my absence but life threw me some curveballs. I am happy to be back at my crafting table now. 😊 How do you like Whimsy's most recent release? It's looking a lot like Christmas 🎡 The card I am showcasing here today is made using die cuts only - not counting the stamped sentiment πŸ˜‰! Which is by the way from the NEW ATC Vintage Christmas clear stamp set. I have to say I love how it turned out. The die set I was using here are the NEW Santa's Sleigh and Santa's Sleigh Mini Accessories die sets. My background is simple. Just a blue and white glitter cardstock panel. To cut the frame and the background cardstock panels I used the Slimline Scenic Countryside die set. The only embellishment I added besides using what's included in the die sets are some tiny jingle bells. Whimsy Stamps products used: Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
