Geburtstagskarte - Meine Mom wird 70. My Mom is turning 70. on November 21. and this is the card I made for her. Hopefully she is too busy right know for checking my blog ;-) Meine Mom wird am 21. Eine "Doppelkarte" mit Scharnieren - Motiv: Magnolia I made this birthday card for a special friend who introduced me to card making quite a while ago.... ;-) (I don't want to say more because it's going to be a surprise...I hope.) I put a lot of extra efforts into it to make it unique. The card is double layered (two front sides). On the first cover is the stamped Magnolia image (colored using the Gamsol-Technique) and on the second one the birthday wishes are revealed. I put on some hinges so it's easier to turn the first cover sheet, gives enough room for decorations on the second one and it is a nice and decorative embellishment as well. Diese Geburtstags-Karte habe ich fuer jemand speziellen gemacht, der mich eigentlich erst zum Kartenbasteln gebracht hat. (Mehr kann/will ich nicht sagen da es eine Ueberraschung werden soll ... hoffentlich). Ich habe mich angestrengt damit die Karte was besonderes wird. Sie hat 2 Deckblaetter. I was organizing and cleaning up my craft room yesterday and came across this little papermache star ornament. And I decided I've had done enough cleaning it's time for creating ;-) This ist what I made out of it. Ich bin gestern beim Aufraeumen und Saubermachen meines Bastezimmers ueber diesen Sternanhaenger aus Pappmache gestolpert. Da habe ich beschlossen genug geputzt, Zeit zum kerativ werden.;-) Und das habe ich daraus gemacht.
