Burst of Colors

Hello Friends! Sorry for my absence but life threw me some curveballs. I am happy to be back at my crafting table now. 😊 How do you like Whimsy's most recent release? It's looking a lot like Christmas 🎵 The card I am showcasing here today is made using die cuts only - not counting the stamped sentiment 😉! Which is by the way from the NEW ATC Vintage Christmas clear stamp set. I have to say I love how it turned out. The die set I was using here are the NEW Santa's Sleigh and Santa's Sleigh Mini Accessories die sets. My background is simple. Just a blue and white glitter cardstock panel. To cut the frame and the background cardstock panels I used the Slimline Scenic Countryside die set. Hello again!  Here are my last two creations for this month. Two more Slimline Halloween cards and this time I am using the awesome NEW Slimline Toner Card Fronts - Terror 1. I love the toner card fronts. You can easily and quick create stunning effects with toner reactive foil and a laminator.  On the first card I used the toner card front together with the Amethyst Watercolor toner reactive foil from ThermoWeb. What a stunning effect this gives to my card. I combined it with the Witch Whispers and EEK word and shadow die sets which I cut from black and white glitter cardstock.  My second card uses the  toner card front together with a Lime Satin foil sheet. Hey All!  We are still here and we've been VERY lucky and pulled through this horrible storm with little to no damage, thank God! My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who had to deal with this monster Hurricane and hasn't been that lucky or are still feeling Ian's effects as it makes its way up the Atlantic coast.  I am sharing two cards today, a Halloween slimline project and a Christmas card. This is one of my favorite Halloween creations I made this year so far. Whimsy Stamps has the best Halloween stamps and dies and with only little effort you can make an awesome Halloween creation. I used the NEW ATC Halloween Scene clear stamps set together with previously released Halloween dies (see link list below). There is no coloring required to make this card. Just stamping with black ink onto colored cardstock and die cutting from black, purple and silver cardstock. Hello Everyone! Here is a Halloween Slimline Card featuring Whimsy's Poe Boy clear stamp set. I used images from the stamp set as my main images as well as to create the background. Happy Weekend All! On my first card for today I have a super cute Christmas image to share from Crissys NEW Cat Do Christmas clear stamp set for  Whimsy  Stamps . My second project uses the NEW Boing! Word & Shadow die set on a quick comic style card. Isn't she just adorable?💖 Looooove her! I colored the kitty using my new Tim Holtz water color pencils. I wanted to give them a try for coloring but I think I don't like them to much for this. They are quite chalky and I do not like the effect for coloring purposes. I haven't tried them otherwise yet but I think they might be much better for backgrounds, stencils and mixed media. So far I have to say I am not overly excited about these. But that might change once I tried them in different ways.  The background on this card is created using one of the Toner Terror 1 A2 Card Fronts with a 'Mystic Rainbow' foil transer sheet. Hey All!  Whimsy Stamps September 20th release day is here! I am showcasing the ATC Hiss Off clear stamp set today. I wanted to show how versatile this set is and used it to create a card and not necessarily a ATC. I combined the ATC Hiss Off clear stamp set with the Halloween Creature Stencil. I stamped/inked everything in black onto lime green cardstock to make it really pop. The sentiment is included with the STC Hiss Off set and was cut out using the Comic Speech Bubbles die set.   Thanks for visiting! Hugs!

Happy Wednesday! A day late again with my posting. Looks like life is interfering again with my crafting time *sigh*. But now without further ado here is my first creation using products from the most recent Whimsy release.  The New A2 Toner Terror papers are AMAZING!!! I am so in love! The background for my card was created using one of the designs in the pack together with a violet satin finish foil. Happy Saturday! Here is some inspiration for a Halloween card using products from  Whimsy Stamps  released earlier this month.  I die cut the Mini Slim Tree House die from black cardstock and adhered it to a panel gel press background from my stash. I die cut the ghosts from vellum paper and stamped the sentiment with gray ink. A very quick card with a great effect! Happy Hauntings!
