Poppy Flowers - Thinking of You!

Image
Happy Sunday!  I hope everyone is well and staying home! My card for today showcases the NEW Poppy Flower die as well as the   NEW Lattice A2   die .  I die cut the poppies from colored cardstock and used a ball-tool to shape the petals and leaves. Then I used a green brad to hold the petals of the blossoms together. In the center of each poppy I've added some black Stickles glitter glue. Here is a close-up:  The sentiment is from the NEW Life Goes On sentiment set.  Here is a link list of all Whimsy products used: (I am part of Whimsy Stamps Affiliated Program. I've Got You Covered

Hey Folks, Happy Monday! Have you seen the super cute ** FREE** digi by Dustin Pike - Toilet Paper Dudley? He is available for free over in the Whimsy Stamps Facebook Group . Here is my take on that cutie patootie: I colored him with Copics. The background I made using the Twinkle Stencil  together with NUVO Embellishment Mousse 'Coastal Surf'. I also added some lime Stickles dots inbetween the twinkles to make it match my image better.  The sentiment is included with the image and I cut it out using the  Quick Strip  dies. I also added some die cut  clouds . Here are two close-ups: I've added some 3D Glaze to his eyes. Here is a link list of all Whimsy products used: (I am part of Whimsy Stamps Affiliated Program. Whimsy Stamps Special Release - With Sympathy

Image
There's a special release in the Whimsy Store today! So many wonderful and fun products for any occasion. On my inspiration card today I showcase the NEW Sympathy So Deeply clear set  by  Deb Davis  together with the NEW Lattice A2 die.    I stamped the flowers from the  Sympathy So Deeply  clear set with Versamark ink onto white mixed media paper and heat embossed with WOW Gold Pearl embossing powder. I colored the flowers using Altenew's 36 color pan set. I used Cotton Candy, Grapevine and Forrest Glades. After the color was dry I fussy cut the images. To create the lattice oval I used the  NEW Lattice A2   die   with white cardstock  and then die cut the oval with the second largest die from the Basic Stitched Oval set. For the background I used a white mixed media panel and sprinkled on some gold ( from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors) and black watercolors (from the Altenew 36 pan set). As card base I used a black A2 size top-fold card. I adhe

Springtime Greetings

Hello Crafty Friends & Happy First Day of Spring! Despite or just because of all whats going on in the world at the moment I want to share a happy springtime/Easter card with you today. On my card I am using one of Whimsy Stamps new clear set from this months release called 'NEW Easter Memories'   by Deb Davis . I stamped with Versafine Onys Black ink onto Strathmore's blue toned mixed media paper. I used several images from the  'NEW Easter Memories'  set to create my little scene which I colored using Prisma pencils. The image was cut out using the  NEW Spring Ovals   dies. The frame around the image was also created with the NEW Spring Ovals die set which I cut out from white Hammermill cardstock and layered on top of each other with foam tape. To make the image on the frame pop even more I stamped the NEW Crisscross Gingham stamp with Memento Sky ink onto the A2 top fold card base. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Blac

Hoppy Easter

Hi everyone! Today I want to re-share a card I made using the adorable Hoppy Spring clear stamps set from Whimsy Stamps as well as a few other Whimsy goodies. I made this card last year when the products first where introduced at that time as Paper Door kit. So you might remember seeing this card before ;-) These little bunnies are so sweet and together with the matching  Hoppy  Spring outline dies (sold separately) and sentiments (included with the clear set) you can make a card in no-time. I also used the  Mini Cloud background stamp to create my sky. The grass was created using the Cloud and Grass Edger die set and the grass stamps from the  Hoppy Spring   clear set.  Here is a link list of all Whimsy products used: (I am part of Whimsy Stamps Affiliated Program.
