VooDoo You Love?

Image
Hello friends, welcome to my blog today. Here is a card I made with the NEW VooDoo clear stamp set from Whimsy Stamps . What an adorable set. I stamped with Versafine clair Nocturne ink onto Canson 140lb watercolor paper. I colored the little voodoo doll with FB Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. The base is a pink A2 size card from heavy 110lb cardstock. The designer papers are also from Whimsy - 6x6 pattern paper Starring Hearts. I embellished my card using a button, enamel dot, thin rolled paper strip and pink staples. Here is a link list of all Whimsy products used: (I am part of Whimsy Stamps Affiliated Program. Happy New Year 2020! - Whimsy January Release

Image
Hello folks! Wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2020! Let's kick start the new year with our first new Whimsy Stamps release for 2020. This release is AHH-MA-ZING! But see for yourself. HERE in the store you'll find all the new goodies.  I am showcasing a new flower set today illustrated by Crissy Armstrong   and it's part of the Whimsy Stamps Crissy Armstrong collection . They are called Layered Peruvian Lilies . This set is very versatile. You can layer the flowers, stamp them with different colored inks to receive beautiful images quickly without coloring. Or you can use just the outline images of the flowers and color them with your favorite medium. I used the latter method. Because I wanted a bucnh of flowers coming out of one corner of my card I used the masking technique to create this cluster of   Peruvian Lilies . I used only the outline stamps from the flower blossoms and leaves and stamped them on a A2 size watercolor panel with
