Happy Saturday! I am back today with more Whimsy PaperDoor     Elf Sized   inspiration. This time I have a little pillow gift box to share. How-to: I used one of the kraft pillow boxes included with the  PaperDoor kit . Using VersaMark ink I stamped the little holly leaves all over the pillow box (leave the pillow box unassambled for stamping). This gives a nice watermark effect. Then I cut two strips of paper - 1 1/4" wide / 6 inch long - from green DP (also included with the kit) I punched out 3 different size circles using my paper punches (you can use circle dies as well, but for these simple circles I find my punches work very well and faster than if I would use dies). The largest and the smallest circle are cut out from red DP and the middle one is cut from kraft cardstock.  I stamped the candy cane image and the holly leave image onto white Copic friendly cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Copics ( G43, G46, G29 & R24, R46,

Hello Crafty Friends and Welcome to World Card Making Day with Whimsy Stamps!     We are so excited for you to join the fun today with an amazing blog hop from the talented Whimsy artists.    Each blog will have some inspiration with a card perfect for World Card Making Day. My inspiration card today uses the wonderful, just released, Winter Roses Background stamp. Here is how I created my card: I stamped the large rose image and the single rose image from the  Winter Roses  Background stamp with antique linen Distress ink onto Canson 140lbs watercolor paper. I always use the smooth side of the paper when stamping my images onto watercolor paper. Using antique linen creates an outline that will fade while coloring with watercolors and the image will have a no-lines look. I used Daniel Smith extra fine watercolors - one of my favorite brands if it comes to fine art watercolors. I love their vibrant pigment. After coloring the image I let it dry and did so
