Happy Sunday To You All! Today I would like to share a vintage style tag I made a while ago for the CreateExchange FB-group February tag swap. It reached it's destination in Australia last week so I'm able to share it with you here now. But first I would like to announce my winner from the Graph'It Marker & Whimsy Stamps combined challenge. The prize is a 3 pack of Graph' It markers! Without further ado here is the randomly drawn winner: Fiona from Fi's Cards and Crafts Congratulations Sweety! Please contact me with you snail mail address at cocoacrafts(at)gmail.com  Ok now onto my project for today. The February theme was to create a vintage style tag using burlap . This is what I came up with: No colored image on this tag though. Instead I used a Whimsy Stamps sentiment as my focal point. It's from the Vintage Seed Packets 2 sentiment set. Stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto kraft cardstock. Design papers I used are from Pio

So Sweet! - New Whimsy Clear Stamps

Image
Hello Everyone! Today I have a card to share made with the brand new 'Clearly Whimsy Stamps'! These are highest quality photopolymer clear stamps!  Usually I'm not a big clear stamps fan but these are AWESOME! They stamp crisp and clean like red rubber! No ink pools building up on the stamp surface and they really do stick to your acrylic block and not falling off! They are nice and sturdy and don't feel like 'Jello' and are stretching out like a bubble gum.  The designer and artist behind all this gorgeousness is no one less than my Whimsy DT-Sister Simonne Clay - SC Designs. Brilliant design job Sem!! This new line features more simple designs perfect for all the CAS creations. As much as I love doing embellished cards I also enjoy creating CAS! For this card I used Sweet As Candy - Sweet Lables and  Sweet As Candy Sweet Images . I've stamped the candy images using Memento 'tart pear', 'dandelion', and c

Welcome to my last GDT posting for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps . Thank you so much for having me and it was a pleasure guest designing with these adorable stamps! For my last card today I used the second butterfly available on the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. My project with the other butterfly from this set can be seen HERE . Quick 'How To' : Card measures 4.5" x 5.5", cut from plain white 110lbs cardstock. I then cut another plain white layer 4.25" x 5.25". Adhere washi tape. Add flower and secure with pearl brad. Adhere layer with foam tape to card. Stamp butterfly with black ink onto white cardstock. Now stamp the butterfly again right on top of the just stamped balck image using embossing ink. This is easy as it is a clear stamp! Heat emboss with clear fine detail embossing powder. Cut out butterfly. Adhere to card using  foam tape. Stamp the little antennas right onto the card and embellish with 2 small pearls. St

Hello Everyone , it's Thursday and time for another Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Guest Designer creation. Once again I used the beautiful and versatile Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. I stamped one dragonfly onto designer paper and embossed it with Frantage shabby white embossing powder and also added white Gesso around the edges. The second drangonfly was stamped onto cream colored cardstock using Pistachio Memento ink. I've added Gesso again to achieve a little vintage look. Both dragonflies were cut out using the matching Dragonfly Die.  Other dies used are from Memory Box, flowers are from WOC and the rolled rose is handmade using a Memory Box die. Sentiment is also from the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. Designer papers are from Pion Design and the lovely lace is from Live and Love Crafts. Furthermore I used a pearl string and Stickles glitter glue for some bling. Closer look on the dragonflies and the sentiment. I am also entering
