Whimsy Stamps and Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Collaboration

Image
It's the 12th Stamptember Fest at Simon Says Stamp and Whimsy is taking part this year as well. Please help us celebrate all the stamping goodness. There is an EXCLUSIVE Whimsy clear stamp set available starting today. It is only for a limited time and only while supplies last! Make sure you grab yours today! Picture below is link to stamp set at Simon website. Here is a card I made using the new exclusive set together with some other Whimsy products. I used the Wire Background stamp to create the background. I then cut a hexagon shape from one of the SL Enchanted Kingdom Papers as a backdrop for all my images and die cuts I planned to use. To create my scene I combined the Just Chicken In clear stamp set with several other Whimsy products which you will find linked below.     Hugs and Stay Safe! Thanks for stopping by!

Whimsy's Second Halloween Release - Being Tied Up!

Image
It's time for  Whimsy Stamps  second Halloween release -  CREEPY  ðŸ•·ðŸ•¸ðŸ§Ÿ There is also an Instagram hop going on with a $25 giveaway! Now onto my creation: To create the web background I used the NEW Broken Web Slimline Embossing Folder on a purple white wash coredinations cardstock. After running it through my die cut machine I used a sanding pad to reveal the purple color of the embossed parts. I then sprinkled on some black paint. The image is from the NEW Cocoon Clear Stamp Set and I colored it with alcohol markers (Ohuhu).  The spiders are cut from black cardstock using the NEW Spiders and Webs die set released earlier this month. I sprinkled the die cut spiders with a bit of white paint and added them to the background panel with foam dots. I also added the girl image with foam dots. I stamped the sentiment (included with the clear stamp set) on kraft cardstock and used the ticket die from the NEW ATC Book Die Set to cut it out. Using brads to adhere the sentime

'Seas' The Day

Hello crafty friends! The NEW Under The Sea stamp set from Whimsy Stamps  most recent release is just the cutest and was totally screaming 'underwater shaker scene' to me 😃 ...well, so here we go... I created my slimline shaker using the frame die from the Slimline Scenic Countryside die set. The shaker background is made using the Slimline Under The Sea papers and the sentiment is from the 'Baby Sea Creatures' clear stamp set.  I didn't want to cover too much of the background paper so I went with different sized clear sequins and confetti as my shaker filling. Again I colored my images using my Ohuhu alcohol markers, the newest addition to my coloring mediums. I love to use them, they are super juicy and blend like butter. I think so far they hold up very well next to my beloved Copics. I am really impressed. I will test them further and might do a review in the near future.  Ohuhu Markers used: Red (Shrimp): R1, R2, R160, R22 Blue (Eyes): B220, B1

You're Awesome

Are you enjoying the long weekend ? Here is a slimline card I made the other day using the Bendy Borders clear stamp set from Whimsy's newest release as well as previously released stamps and dies. For the border on top and at the bottom I used one of the border strips from the Bendy Borders clear stamp set from Whimsy Stamps July 1st release. The flowers are from the FaDoodles Flowers clear stamp set and the Scalloped Circle Frame die from last months release. I created the sentiment using the Awesome word die and the You're from the Fantabulous clear set. A few clear sequins finish off my card. Whimsy products used: Thanks for your visit!

Happy 4th of July - Happy Birthday America ! Wishing everyone a fabulous holiday and please stay safe out there wherever you celebrate!  Here is another beautiful stamp from the recent release. This stamp is such a pretty one and can be used for many occasions. Good news for everyone who hates to fussy cut there is also a matching die available for this stamp! 😉 I stamped the Elegant Butterfly with orange dye ink onto white Hammermill cardstock. I decided to make it a shaker card and used the circle element from the Shaker Maker Combo die set for that. I cut a piece of black cardstock using one of the Quick Strip dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Simple Sentiment Strips clear set with Versamark ink and heat embossed in white.  Another NEW product is the A2 Envelope Builder. Now you can make a matching envelope for each card. It's fast & easy and it also has a die for making a liner insert. For my custom A2 envelope I went with white and made the liner in matchin

Whimsy July 1st Release - Get Well Soon

Hey Whimsy Fans , it's the 1st of the month and that means 'Release-Time'!!! Do you remember the Butterflies clear stamp set that has been released some time earlier? I LOVE this set and it is one of my all time favorites because it is so versatile and you can use if for all kinds of cards and occasions. What's new is that we have now matching outline dies for the Butterflies! Isn't that amazing? That saves so much time because fussy cutting can be real time consuming. Just stamp, color and die cut and voila! A perfect cut out butterfly!  I made a slimline card using one of my ready to use gel printed backgrounds I keep in my drawer. When I am in the mood to do some gel printing I usually get carried away and at the end of the day I have tons of gel printed papers. I keep all those handy to use up for my card making. This summery red/pink and yellow/orange piece of gel printed paper is perfect for my rather simple butterfly card. I created the frame using the Sli
