Burst of Colors

Happy TGIF Crafty Friends! I am totally in love with the super cute little monster clear stamp sets Whimsy released earlier this months. They are from the Crissy Armstrong Collection and are called Monster Birthday and Monster Moods .  On my card I used one of the little monster fellas from the  Monster Moods   clear stamp set and colored with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. I created the rainy background using the It's Raining 6x9 stencil and the NUVO Glimmer Paste in Esmeralda Green. The puddle the little monster is jumping in joyfully was created with another stencil called Puddles 6x6 stencil . I first inked the puddle with Distress Oxide inks, cut it out and then added Stickles glitter glue for some bling. The sentiment is one of the    Positives  sentiments, stamped with Versamark ink onto teal cardstock and white heat embossed. To add the stitching on my sentiment banner I used one of the Envelope Edger dies. Whimsy Stamps products used: Happy crafting!

Hi Everyone!   Here is another card I made using products from Whimsy's most recent release. I combined the new Kitty Frame die and Scribdoodle critter papers with earlier released products You Are word die set and Kitty Cat Extras die set . To make the large words pop I die cut them several times from black cardstock, layered them and added 3D gloss on top. When I added the Kitty Frame I first thought of making a shaker card. I think this is just what this frame screams...SHAKER! Then I decided otherwise and wanted to make it pop without being a shaker. I added blue cardstock for the background that matches my designer paper. I added the word 'purrfect' die cut from bright pink cardstock and added a little fishy and some sequins. I think it is just the perfect little element to coordinate with my large word sentiment and the background papers. Whimsy Stamps products used: Happy crafting!

Hey Everyone! Can you believe it? It's December 1st and Whimsy's last release of the year! Wow! Where has the time gone!?  I am sharing two vintage style Christmas cards today using kraft paper and a CAS layout. The stamp set I used is also called Vintage Christmas and is a clear set by DoveArt.  I kept the design really simple and on the left card I only used white heat embossing and stamped the sentiment in black. A classic red ribbon and some sequins to decorate the card.  On the right card I stamped the tree with dark green ink and heat embossed the snowman in white. The sentiment is stamped in black. This time I used a dark green ribbon to match the tree color and as well some sequins. Whimsy products used: Thanks for stopping by!

Here is another Christmas card using a combination of newly released products from this month and earlier released products all by Whimsy Stamps.  Here I used the NEW Twisty Frame die set and the NEW Sweater Slimline Embossing Folder together with the Happy Feet clear stamp set that was released last year. I lust adore these cute penguins! Of course I had to make another shaker card...just couldn't resist.😎 I colored the cute penguin image using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Hey All! Using the Whimsy Stamps SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline Papers together with any stamped image makes fantastic, easy and fast Christmas cards. On my card I used the 'Bunny Winter Holiday' clear stamp set illustrated by Crissy Armstrong together with one of the  SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline Papers. I cut out the patterned paper using the Slimline Fancy Frame die set. The banner I used for the sentiment is from the same die set. Here is a Christmas card I made using the awesome 'Hourglass' die from Whimsy Stamps. It's such a versatile die that can be used year round for any occasion. On my creation I combined it with the 'Calm Christmas' and 'Decorate a Tree' set from this months release.  To add more detail and interest to the card I made it a shaker card and filled it with 'Merry & Bright' Sprinkletz. Hello Friends! How would you feel as a snowman enjoying the beach? Well the fella on my card is visibly enjoying it. 😉⛄ To create my card I used the Calm Christmas clear stamp set from Whimsy's most recent release. I stamped onto Arches hot press paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and colored with Dr. Ph. Martins Radiant Liquid Watercolors. I fussy cut the image and adhered it to the card front using foam dots.  The sentiment is included with the set. I stamped it on watercolor paper, colored it with matching colors and cut it out using the Quick Strip die set. A few enamel dots finish off my CAS style card.
