Altred Journal and more Puppy Pics!

Happy Weekend! Today I can show you an altered project and some updated puppy pics of Coco. Kelly from All 4 Rogers sent me brand new pics of Coco taken yesterday. Thanks again Kelly, this makes the last week waiting more bearable...lol

But first I like to show you my project from today, an altered journal. This was a nice and quick project, something I really enjoyed doing. It's nice for a change to finish a project in almost no time. The journal I used is from Laura Ashley and I found it at Michales in the clearance bins.
I also used my brand new border punch from Martha Stewart, I got today at Michaels. They had all the Martha Stewart stuff for 25% off so I couldn't resist. ;-)
I colored the Leere Aldrich stamp with my Copics and layered the image on matching pink Bazzill CS. Than I trimmed green Bazzill CS and punched the upper and lower border with my new punch. Adhered the image to it and decorated the right and left side with half-pearls. Than I adhered everything to the front of the journal and finsihed decorating by adding more half- pearls, Stickles and a small bow. I also highlighted the image using Stickles and 3D Glaze.
Schoenes Wochenende! Heute kann ich Euch ein Altered Project zeigen und bereits neue Bilder von Coco die mir Kelly from All 4 Rogers gestern wieder zugeschickt hat. Danke Kelly, das macht das warten etwas ertraeglicher...lol! Aber zuerst moechte ich Euch mein Altered Journal zeigen. Das ging wirklich fiz und hat mir viel Spass gemacht! Ist schoen wenn es zwischendurch auch mal schnelle Sachen gibt...grins. Das Journal ist von laura Ashley und ich habe es in meinem Bastelladen bei den Ausverkauf-Sachen gefunden. Ich konnte auch gleich meinen neuen Randstanzer von Martha Stewart verwenden. Alle Sachen von Martha Stewart waren 25% reduziert und da konnte ich natuerlich nicht widerstehen ;-) Ich habe das Motiv von Leere Aldrich mit meinen Copics coloriert und ihn dann mit passendem pinkfarbenen CS unterlegt. Dann habe ich gruenen CS zugeschnitten und die obere und untere Kante mit dem Randstanzer gestanzt, das Motiv aufgeklebt und links und rechts davon mit Halbperlen verziert. Alles auf der Vorderseite des Journals angebracht und fertig dekoriert mit Halbperlen, Stickles und einer Schleife. Auch auf dem Motiv habe ich Highlights gesetzt mit Stickles und 3D Lack.

Puppy Pics And A Reminder

Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday! Today I like to show you some puppy pictures, as I promised earlier I would :-) Just one week more to go and than the time is finally here to bring our new puppy Coco home! :-) YAY! We are so looking forward to that and are extremely excited. I'm also curious on the reaction from our doggie Cleo to her new sister.... I think she will be excited as well. Finally another furry, four legged friend for her to play with all day long....lol. Here are some pictures of Coco, taken by Kelly of All 4 Rogers, about a week ago. Guten Morgen und allen einen schoenen Freitag! Heute zeige ich Euch ein paar Welpen Bilder, wie ich neulich schon mal versprochen hatte :-) Nur noch eine Woche und dann ist es endlich Zeit und wir koennen Coco enldich nach Hause holen! Hurra! Wir freuen uns schon sehr darauf! Und vorallem bin ich gespannt auf die Reaktion von unserer Cleo auf ihre neue Schwester. Aber ich denek sie freut sich genauso, endlich ein weiterer Vierbeiner im haus zum Spielen! :-) Hier sind ein paar Bilder von Coco, gemacht von Kelly vom Zwinger All 4 Rogers. Surf's up!

Hi all! My card today is made using the ultra cute Surfer Ian from The Greeting Farm. I colored Ian using my Copics and sure he had to have blonde hair... he is a surfer dude lol ;-) I layerd the image on Bazzill CS and and used my sewing machine to sew around it. The base CS is DCWV and I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the lower part to give the impression of waves. I also used Twinkling H2O's and Stickles to highlight the waves. I used my decorative edge siccors to cut a wavy line on both the CS and DP. The DP is from Basic Greys new paper pad Lime Rickey and I think these bright colors are just fantastic for the image! Than I put both together and sewed around it but without using thread in the machine. I just wanted to have the tiny holes. I also used, for the first time, my grommet tool (Making Memories) to add the flower grommet. Finally I tied a matching ribbon around it and added the little charm. The sentiment was computer generated and I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut the oval shapes.


Hallo zusammen! Meine Karte heute habe ich mit dem super suessen Surfer Ian Motiv gemacht, von The Greeting Farm. Absofort sind die Stempel von The Greeting Farm auch in Deutschland erhaeltlich und zwar hier! Coloriert wurde Ian mit meinen Copics und er musste selbstverstaendlich blondes Haar bekommen, ist ja ein Surfer! ... lol!
Dann habe ich das Image auf CS von Bazzill angebracht und mit der Maschine rundherum genaeht. Der untere CS ist DCWV, wovon ich den unteren teil mit dem Cuttlebug embossed habe um den Eindruck von Wellen zu bekommen. Mit Twinkling H2O's und Stickles habe ich dann Highlights gesetzt auf den "Wellen". Das DP ist von Basic Greys neuem DP Block Lime Rickey. Ich finde die kraeftigen Farben passen einfach perfekt zum Motiv. Bei beiden Papieren habe ich die jeweils untere Kante mit einer Wellenscheere geschnitten. Dann habe ich die beiden Papiere zusammen geklebt und mit der Maschine ohne Faden rundherum genaeht. Ich wollte nur die kleinen Loechlein haben. Zum erstenmal habe ich auch mein Grommet Werkzeug (Making Memories) benutzt um mein Flower Grommet zu setzen. Dann habe ich noch ein Satinband herum gebunden und den kleinen Anhaenger daran gehaengt. Der Spruch ist auf dem PC geschrieben und ich habe meine Spellbinders Nestabilities benutzt um die Ovale auszuschneiden.

Aroma Therapy

Hello everyone and can you believe it's already Wednesday again? The image on my card today is not one of my usual images and I have to say I needed a while to get used to these Leere Aldrich images. But after a while and foremost after I colored my first image I really do like them. I had this paper from Cloud 9 Design sitting in my drawer for quite some time now and today I think it was a perfect match. I like the glittered and glazed parts on that paper. I also used a lot of Diamond Stickles to give the foam a nice sparkly look. I made this card as part of a gift for a friend and I'm going to buy some nice bath salt and body lotion to give to her together with the card. Hope she likes it.

Hallo allezusammen und wahnsinn wie die Zeit vergeht es ist schon wieder Mittwoch! Das Motiv das ich heute benutzt habe auf meiner Karte ist keines meiner ueblichen Motive und ich muss sagen diese Leere Aldrich Motive waren fuer mich auch erstmal gewoehnungsbeduerftig, als ich sie das erstemal sah bei Ilona im Shop. Aber nach einer Weile und vor allem nachdem ich mein erstes Motiv coloriert habe gefallen sie mir gut..sehr gut sogar! Das DP ist von Cloud 9 Design und ich habe es schon ne Zeit hier liegen, aber heute denke ich passte es perfekt. Ich mag die glaenzenden und glitzernden Elemente auf dem Papier. Und um dem Badeschaum den noetigen Sparkle zu geben habe ich viel Diamond Stickles benutzt. Diese Karte ist Teil eines Geschenks fuer eine Freundin. Dazu werde ich noch schoenes Badesalz und Koerperlotion kaufen. Hoffe es gefaellt ihr!
