14th ROP Challenge, Friday Sketchers and Coco is home

Hello and a happy start in the new week! We had quite an exciting weekend. We brought Coco home, our new puppy! Finally ! YAY! ;-) She is such a sweetheart and a clown as well. We already love her and are having sooooooo much fun with her. And Cleo our 5 year old dog is still a little skeptical and curious as well, about the new and still tiny family member....all these new smells...lol. She just needs a little time to adjust (and lots of extra TLC ;-) ) to the new situation of not being the one and only dog in the house. I'll post pictures during the week. Right now I don't have much time to do anything...lol

Today it's another Monday and time for a new Roses on Paper Challenge!
This time it is on Rosette to choose the challenge and she came up with a great idea! Callenge theme for our newest Challenge is using flowers on your card/project (flower stamp, paper with flowers, decorate with flowers etc) and combine our challenge with another challenge. I think that is a fabulous theme and I chose to join this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge together with our challenge. They are having a greart sketch to work with this week. For my card I chose the Alota image "Roses". I love this stamp and I colored it with distress inks from Tim Holtz. I also used Shimmerz on the image as well as on the little roses (Prima). The DP I used is from Basic Grey's Porcelaine paper pad. Sentiment stamp is from The Greeting Farm and swirls are from Inque Boutique. Ribbon and buttons from my stash. The halfpearl is from Basic Grey's Opaline Collection . Punches used are from Martha Stewart and EK Success.

With Deepest Sympathy

Hello everyone! Well I didn't plan to show you these cards today, but unfortunately there are not only happy moments in life. I got a call from my Mom this morning telling me that a dear neighbour and friend passed away. I spent lots and lots of happy hours at her place when I was a child. And both of her daughters had fun baby sitting me. So I made these cards to be sent to them with my condolences. I kept the cards clean and simple because that is what I like best for sympathy cards. They are on their way to Germany already...

Hallo zusammen! Also diese Karten hatte ich eigentlich nicht fuer heute geplant, aber leider gibt es nicht nur glueckliche momente im Leben. Meine Mom rief heute morgen an und erzaehlte mir das eine liebe Nachbarin und Freundin verstorben ist. Als Kind habe ich viele, viele gleuckliche Stunden bei ihr verbracht! Und beide ihre Toechter waren meine Babysitter. Ich habe die Karten gemacht um ihnen mein Beileid auszusprechen. Die Karten habe ich bewusst schlicht gehalten, da mir das fuer einen solchen Anlass immer am besten gefaellt. Sie sind bereits unterwegs nach Deutschland....

Hänglar & Roses

Hello everybody! I had a very busy day today so I'll keep my post very short. I made this card for a friends birthday coming up in July (Yay I'm early!) I colored the Haenglar imgage with distress inks and the flourish stamp is from Inkadinkado. For all the details on the products I used scroll down to the end of the posting.

Hallo zusammen. Ich war viel beschaeftigt heute darum moechte ich mein Posting heute sehr kurz halten. Diese Karte habe ich fuer einen Geburtstag gemacht der allerdings erst im Juli ist. JCBC Challenge & Reminder for ROP GDT Call

1. ISB Challenge - Starting Today!

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! Today is the day... our very first ISB-Challenge is starting. We made it nice and easy for the first Challenge and picked a color challenge. The color combo is PINK & BROWN. The challenge is a bi-weekly challenge and will start every other Sunday. You have time to enter until Saturday June 20. For my card I chose an image from Sarah Kay and decided to make a vintage style card. I think the Sarah Kay images are just perfect for this type of card. I colored my image with distress inks.

Ich habe mich fuer ein Sarah Kay Motiv entschieden und dafuer meine Karte im Vintage Look zu gestalten. Ich finde diese Motive sind dafuer einfach ideal! Coloriert habe ich mit Distress Inks.
