Bees and Flowers

Happy Tuesday everyone! Yay finally we got some rain down here. Actually it's raining almost non stop since yesterday. The rain was much needed and hopefully it's enough to put those fires out. My card today is pretty simple because the image is quite big. I LOVE the Alota bugs and just fell in love when I first saw this image on the Alota website. I think they are are too adorable buzzing around the watering can and the flowers. I colored the image using my copics, Twinkling H2O's and Shimmerz.


Hallo und einen wunderschoenen Dienstag allerseits! Meine Karte heute ist ziemlich einfach gehalten, da das Motiv sehr gross ist. Ich finde diese Alota Bugs einfach unwiderstehlich und hatte mich sofort in das Motuv verliebt als ich es das erstemal auf der Alota webseite gesehen habe. Sind die kleinen Bienchen nicht zu niedlich wie sie da um die Giesskanne und Blumen herum schwirren? Coloriert habe ich mit meinen Copics, Twinkling H2O's und Shimmerz.

For the Boyz! - ROP Challenge 12

Hello everyone and Happy Monday! It's Monday and time for another ROP Challenge, YAY!
It's Peta's Challenge thist time and she wants you to make a card for the boys!
That means a masculine card:

I choose the cute Ian imgae for my card from the Rock the Farm Set by TGF. I think he is just adorable and fits the challenge theme excellent. Well no bling, no glitz allowed so I thought I need to think of something different to pimp the card a little. So I added some stitches which I think are not too girlish and kind of a 3D effect by adding the image with a hinge to the card so you can "open it up" like a little door and reveal the saying. And for a change I colored the image this time using my colored pencils (Derwent Coloursoft and Prisma) and Gamsol. Haven't done that for quite some time and it ws really fun doing something different for a change! I think I have to change more often between my coloring mediums...

Hallo zusammen und einen wunderschoenen Montag wuensche ich!Ja Montagund wieder Zeit fuer die naechste ROP Challenge! Diesmal war es an Peta das Thema zu waehlen und sie entschied sich fuer: "For the Boyz!"
Damit ist eine Karte gemeint fuer Jungs, also eine maennliche Karte ohne jeden femininen Schnickschnack;-):

fuer meine Karte habe ich mich fuer den Ian von dem Rock the Farm Set entschieden und finde er passt wunderbar. Da ja kein Gitzer usw erlaubt ist musste ich mir was anderes ueberlegen womit ich die Karte etwas aufpeppen konnte. So habe ich etwas genaeht (finde nicht das das zu maedchenhaft wirkt) und ich habe das Motiv mit Scharnieren befestigt damit man es wie eine Art Tuer oeffnen kann und dahinter kommt dann der Text zum Vorschein.
Zur Abwechslung habe ich mal wieder mit einen Farbstiften (Derwent Coloursoft and Prisma) und Gamsol (Terpentinersatz) coloriert. Hat Spass gemacht mal wieder was anderes zu machen und ich sollte oefter mal meine Colorationsmittel wechseln....

Love Blooms All Year Long!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I feel kinda funky the last two days as I'm struggling with my allergies.... bah I hate that. And that is why my post won't be very long today.... But enough whining now ... lol My card today is an Anniversary Card I made on order for a friend. The image on the front is from the Cup of Stuff Set from The Greeting Farm. You'll find the cute TGF images here. On the inside the stamps are from Alota and text from TGF

Hallo alle zusammen! Hoffe Euch geht es allen gut. Ich fuehl mich die letzten beiden Tage etwas durch den Wind dank meiner Allergie. Wie ich das hasse...bah... darum wird mein Post heute auch nicht so lange werden. Aber nun genug gejammert ....lol. Meine Karte heute ist eine Karte zum Hochzeitstag, die ich im Auftrag gemacht habe. Das Motiv auf der Aussenseite ist von dem Cup of Stuff Set von The Greeting Farm , die ihr nun auch in Deutschland bestellen koennt und zwar hier. Auf der Innenseite habe ich ein Alota Motiv verwendet und der Textstempel ist ebenso von dem Cup of Stuff Set von TGF.

Sketch Saturday and Just Magnolias

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! Well I know I'm late with my post today,
but...it's still Monday, hehe ;-)

Today's card I made to particiapte in two challenges. Just Magnolia where the theme is "In stitches" and Sketch Saturday's Challenge # 50. So I comebined the two in this card. Hope you all like it.
I did a little masking and stamped some of the butterflies twice, cut them out and adhered them with pop up dots to give a 3D look.

Hallo und einen schoenen Montag Euch allen. Ja ich weiss ich bion recht spaet dran aber immerhin ist es noch Montag.. (zumindet hier bei mir) hihi.

Die heuteige Karte habe ich fuer 2 Challenges gemacht. Einmal fuer Just Magnolia da ist das Thema 'In stitches" und fuer die Challenge # 50 von Sketch Saturday. Ich hoffe sie gefaellt Euch.

Ich habe etwas maskiert, einge der Schmetterlinge 2 mal getseempelt und dann ausgeschnutten und mit pop up dots aufgebracht um einen 3D Effekt zu erzielen.
Meine Schleife habe ich mit dem Schleifenbinder von Joy! Crafts gebunden den ich aus Ilona's Shop habe. Damit kann man tolle gleichmaessige kleine Schleifen binden. Ideal fuer's Karten machen!
