Ladybug and CCT Challenge

WhoooHooo it's Friday! Yesterday I showed you already the colored image of Tilda with Ladybug and this is now the finished card! It is also my entry for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. This weeks theme is Happy Mail. Create a card to cheer someone up or make their day! And I will also send this card to one of the children at Post pals! I love the idea! Hurraaaaa Freitag! Gestern habt ihr schon das colorierte Motiv gesehen und heute zeige ich Euch die Karte die draus geworden ist. Das ist auch mein Beitrag fuer die Cute Card Thursday Challenge diese Woche. Das Thema ist Happy Mail. Mache eine Karte um jemanden aufzumuntern und deren Tag zu verschoenern. Ich werde diese Karte auch an ein Kind von Post pals senden. Um mehr ueber die Challenge und die Organisation Post pals zu erfahren besucht einfach den CCT Blog und vergesst dabei nicht die tollen Karten des DT anzusehen!

Dies wird nicht der einzige Post heute bleiben. ich komme nochmal wieder spaeter heute nachmittag. Denn es ist Blog Candy Zeit bei Papercrafting in Cocoa! :-) Also schaut nochmal vorbei spaeter um zu sehen was es zu gewinnen gibt und was ihr dafuer tun muesst ;-)

ROP - New Tutorial and Butterfly Collection is in!

Hello everybody! Have you seen yet? Anki posted the tutorial about making a folder card on our ROP Tutorial Blog! So no excuses anymore for not entering our current ROP Challenge:

Make a folder card with a mothers day theme!

Anki made a fantastic tutorial with lots of pictures which makes it easy for everybody
to create a wonderful folder card. So check it out and get startet right away, there is
a great prize for grabs!

And I also want to tell you that the first shipment of the fabulous Magnolia Chasing Butterfly Collection has arrived at Roses on Paper. Better hurry and get the stamps you were waiting for before they are all gone ..... they are going fast! But more are on it's way!

Unfortunately I could not manage to finish a card today, but at least I did some coloring :-)
So here's a sneak peek on the card I'll create tomorrow.

This is going to be the image, Tilda with Ladybug, and I'll use DP from Basic Grey's Cupcake paper pad. Tilda is colored using colors matching the DP.

Eine Folder Karte mit Muttertags-Thema

Anki hat eine tolle Anleitung gemacht mit vielen Bildern die es wirklich verstaendlich und einfach macht so eine Karte nachzuarbeiten! Seht's Euch an und fangt am Besten gleich an! Es gibt ausserdem einen klasse Preis zu gewinnen!

Leider habe ich heute keine Zeit gefunden eine Karte fertig zu machen, aber ich konnte wenigstens etwas colorieren. Hier schon mal eine kleine Vorschau auf die Karte die ich morgen machen werde. Ich habe das Motiv Tilda mit Marienkaefer coloriert und werde DP von Basic Grey's Cupcake Papierblock benutzen. Die Farben mit denen ich Tilda coloriert habe sind passend zum DP.

This is going to be a short posting today, sorry about that but pretty tired. The card I made is a typical male card, pretty plain with not too muchg embellies.I saw a card like this a few weeks ago and really liked the look of this suit card. So I just added a small sentiment on the outside and some buttons and put the image on the inside. For a change I colored with my distress inks today.

Das ist ein kurzer Post heute da ich ziemlich muede bin. Das ist eine typische Maennerkarte heute ziemlich nuehctern mit wenig Verzierung. Ich mal so eine Karte gesehen vor ein paar Wochen und mochte den Look von der Anzugkarte. Ich habe aussen nur einen kleinen Text angebracht und die Knoepfe. Ds Motiv ist diesmal auf der Innenseite. Zur Abwechslung habe ich heute mal wieder mit meinen Distress Inks coloriert. Die Highlights auf dem Motiv habe ich mit einem weissen Gel Pen gesetzt. Cute Card Thursday Challenge 58

Happy Tuesday everyone! This weeks theme at Cute Card Thursday Challenge is "Mirror Mirror" - use something shiny. What a nice theme. I still had my mermaid Lisa laying around which I already colored last week. So I added some shine to her tail and the bubbles using 3D crystal lacquer. Also the dew drops, beads and punched out shapes add some shine and sparkle to the card. I hope that this will be enough shine on my card for the challenge.

Wunderschoenen Dienstag alle zuammen. Das Thema diese Woch auf dem Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog ist "Mirror Mirror" - use something shiny. Ein tolles Thema. Da ich immer noch das bereits colorierte Motiv der Mermaid Lisa herumliegen hatte habe ich fuer etwas Glanz auf ihrem Schwanz und den Luftblasen gesorgt durch 3D crystal lacquer. Auch die Dew Drops, Perlen und gestanzten Formen sorgen fuer Glanz und Glitter auf der Karte. Hoffe das ist genug Glanz fuer die Challenge.

ROP Challenge #11 - A Folder Card - Happy Mothers Day!

Hello everyone! It's Monday and time for the 11th ROP Challenge!

Sorry for my not posting since last Wednesday. I was quite busy and actually did make some cards, oh yes, but unfortunately I can't show them here...not yet. As they are surprises for some of my dear friends and frequent visitors here and also some are being submitted to a magazine and I am not allowed to show them here before publishing.

So back to our new Challenge at the ROP Challenge blog!
We have a great theme this time... make a FOLDER CARD with a mother's day theme! Our very talented Anki came up with this great idea this time. And for those of you who need instructions on making a folder card she will be posting a tutorial on our Project and Tutorial Blog this Wednesday.

Don't forget, this must be using a Magnolia, Alota, Sarah Kay, Rachelle Anne Miller or stamp from the Greeting Farm!

The winner of this Challenge will be chosen randomly on Monday, May 18 and you have until May 17th to enter!

The prize for this challenge is very a cute Magnolia stamp: Tilda Picking Lilacs!

The folder card I made is a folder card for storing greeting cards and envelopes.
I used Tilda holding Flowers as my image and colored her with my copics.
To give the flowers a 3D look I used some Flowersoft (sweet pea).
You'll find all the info on the products I used on my card at the end of the post.


Hallo zusammen! Es ist Montag und Zeit fuer die 11. ROP Challenge!

Ich bin bischen nachlaessig gewesen mit dem Posten, aber ich war nicht untaetig. Karten habe ich schon gebastelt in der Zeit wo ich mich hier nicht gemeldet habe ;-) Nur zeigen kann ich sie leider nicht (oder noch nicht) da sie teilweise Ueberraschungen sind fuer Freunde und teilweise Karten die ich an Magazine geschickt habe und die evtl. veroeffentlicht werden.

So aber nun zurueck zur Challenge. Das Thema ist diesmal eine Folder Karte zu machen mit dem Thema Muttertag. Unsere liebe Anki hat sich diesmal das Thema ausgedacht und fuer alle die eine Anleitung moechten wird es diese ab Mittwoch auf unserem Tutorial Blog geben.

Und vergesst nicht ihr muesst einen Stempel von Magnolia, Alota, Sarah Kay, Rachelle Anne Miller oder von The Greeting Farm verwenden.

Der Gewinner wird am Montag den 18. Mai ausgelost und ihr habt Zeit bis einschliesslich
17. Mai um mitzumachen.

Die Folder Karte die ich gemacht habe ist eine Folder Karte um darin Grusskarten und Umschlaege aufzubewahren. Ich habe den Stempel "Tilda Holding Flowers" benutzt und ihn mit meinen Copics coloriert. Um den Blumen einen 3D Effekt zu verleihen habe ich Flowersoft (sweet pea) benutzt. And this is the finished gift, in a clear cello bag with a matching bag topper.

So sah dann das fertige Geschenk aus in einem klaren Cellophan Beutel mit passendem
"Verschluss"
