BnW Advent Calender Day 20 & ISB Challenge 15

Hello and Happy 4th Advent! Today we are already opening door 20 from our Belles 'n Whistles Advent Calender. And there are only a few days left for you to enter the daily drawings and the chance of winning a great prize each day! So what are you waiting for? Click here and play with us :-)

Today I have two cards/projects to share with you.

First the snow globe card I made for todays door of the Belles 'n Whistles Advent Calender. I made a snow globe card using the adorable image "Two Turtle Doves" from the second Belles 'n Whistles Christmas release. Still available at the Belles 'n Whistles store in limited quantities! The image is colored using Copics and the DP is Basic Grey. In the background I added 2 turtle doves which I cut out with my Cricut and added some glitter to it. I thought they are perfect to go with that cute image. For the snow effect on top of the 'globe' I used snow glitter from Martha Stewart which has a nice coarse texture. The other glittery/snowy accents were made using Stickles. Sentiment is a rub on. The shape for the snow globe card was also cut out using my Cricut & 'Joys of the Season' cartridge.

Hallo und einen schoenen 4. Advent.

Belles 'n Whistles Advent Calender gemacht habe.

ISB Challenge 15 - A bottle-hanger & a recipe

The second project I would like to share with you today is our 15th ISB Challenge! This time we want you to make:

A bottle-hanger with the use of the following recipe:
diecut, button, ribbon, tag.

Use as many of these elements as you want on your hanger but at least one of each.

*And remember this must be using a
Magnolia, Bildmalarna, The Greeting Farm, Sarah Kay, Rachelle Ann Miller, Leere Aldrich, Nellie Snellen, Tina Wenke, Belles 'n Whistles, Alota Rubber Stamps or Ollyfant by Erica Pels stamp*.

You have time to enter until January 2nd, 6 pm CET. Winner will be announced on Sunday January 3rd. The price this time is a stamp from the newest Bildmalarna collection, called 'Tossa with Hearts"

I thought its a nice idea to make a 'Champagne-Bottle-Hanger' to bring as little gift to a New Years Eve party. I used Showtime Anya from the Greetingfarm, colored with Copics. DP is from my stash und the punches I used for the flowers are from EK Success. Sentiment is an outline sticker from Starform.

ISB Challenge. Diesmal moechten wir das ihr einen

Flaschenanhaenger macht mit folgendem Rezept:
Stanzteil, Ribbon, Knoepfe, Tag.

I know it was a long posting today and thanks for bearing with me :-)

Frosty the Snowman...

Hello Everyone and a Happy 3rd Advent! Hope you all have enjoyed your weekend so far! I want to show you today my snow globe card. I wanted to try this for some time now and finally I had the time to try it out! And what can I say, it was huuuuge fun to make it. This was just my prototype. I got some more ideas during making it and like to try another one tomorrow.

The image I used is a snowman stamp from The Greeting Farm, colored with Copics. I added Shimmerz to the 'snowy' part of the snowman to achieve that extra crystal glitz of snow. You should be able to see it in the close up. After cutting all my parts and before assembling them I stamped a snowflake background (from Hero Arts) to the light blue circle using Ranger Perfect Medium and added some super fine crystal glitter. For even more snowflake effect I added snowflake outline stickers from Starform. The icicle's were cut using a Martha Stewart border punch, the 'snow' on top of the transparency circle was cut by hand. To the the icicle's I added Stickles Glitter Glue and for the snowy parts on my card I applied Flower Soft. The snow flakes on the front are a CB die, CS is Bazzill and DP is Basic Grey. The sentiment is also an outline sticker from Starform.

Hallo und einen schoenen 3. Advent!

I hope you liked my version of a snow globe card.

Elfish Christmas Greetings

Hello Friends and a Happy Weekend! How are you all doing? I planned on a relaxing Saturday today but it was not relaxing at all...lol. Was running unexpected errands and ended up cleaning the whole house...very relaxing *aaahhhhhh* It just didn't work out like planned (some how it never does :-) ) and so far I had no time yet to sit down and craft...well maybe later this afternoon...there is still some hope ;-)

I got a few emails and was asked if I could do a tutorial on the shadow box card. I will do one soon and post it on the Belles 'n Whistles blog. I'll let you know here as well. I also plan on doing a tutorial for a shaker card!
BTW have you seen Rosette's stunning creation on the BnW blog today? So make sure you don't miss her awesome project!

For my Christmas card I used little Elf Vivi from The Greeting Farm. Isn't she just adorable? I love the look on her face! I colored her with Copics and added some shine with twinkling H2O's and Stickles. I got inspired by a card I saw in a magazine (unfortunately I can't remember which one it was) to do the snow flake wreath. (well part of a wreath actually). Added some half-pearls
ribbon and a large star button for decorations.

Thanks so much for taking the time and visiting my blog today!

Onto my card. I used the Greeting Farm image Miss Anya Snow form the Rain Snow Shine Set.
I thought she is just perfect for these colors. I colored her with my Copics (picture of colors used at the end!) and added polar white Flowersoft to her earmuffs, muff, coat and boots to give a fluffy effect. Than I used one of the new very light Copics (in this case B0000) to draw a soft outline around the image. Using R81 I airbrushed the outer edges for a little contrast. For my background I used glossy paper and embossed it with the Cuttlebug embossing folder snow flakes and added some rhinestones. The wintery flower is made with my Obsession expression flower punch and EK Success snow flake punch. The sentiment is computer generated and the snow flake border is an EK Success punch. The inside is pretty plain just a little distressed around the edges and the two stamps are from Inkadinkado.

The sketch I used for my card is from this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge and was created by the fabulous Jeanette. I had so much fun working with the sketch! Thanks!

Copic's I used for my card:

Make sure to come back tomorrow I have a fun little Halloween project to share with you I made using one of our super cute new Belles 'n Whistles stamps. It is very quick to make and requires no coloring of the image. For all of you who like to make something quick! ;-)

And it is also Candy Time at my blog...starting tomorrow as well! I have some yummy candy for you....but it is a little twist involved! I won't say anymore ... just come back here tomorrow :-) See ya all tomorrow!

Thanks for taking the time and stopping by today :-)))

Snuggle Up!

Hi everyone! Isn't she cute snuggling with her bunny?
I love this stamp from the Greeting Farm! BTW, Stamps from the Greeting Farm now also available in Germany, right here!
This card was actually meant to be my entry for the Color Throw Down challenge, but unfortunately I'm too late, my bad! The colors they had this week were green (certainly celery), plum and chocolate, and this was my take on it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hallo zusammen! Ist sie nicht suess wie sie mit ihrem Hasen kuschelt? Eines meiner Lieblingsmotive von The Greeting Farm! Uebrigens, diese suessen Greeting Farm Motive
koennt ihr nun auch direkt in Deutschland bestellen! Ilona von Bastelbearf-Regnery hat dieses und viele weitere knuffige Motive von The Greeting Farm in ihrem Shop. Diese Motive sind sehr vielseitig und lassen sich super colorieren.
Am Besten geht ihr gleich selbst mal gucken ;-)
Eigentlich hatte ich diese Karte auch gemacht fuer die Color Throw Down Challenge, aber ich bin zu spaet dran gewesen ...selber Schuld ;-) Die Farben die sie diese Wochen hatten fuer die Challenge waren gruen (certainly celery), Pflaume und Schokolade und das hatte ich draus gemacht.
