Rock Chick by Kenny K & ISB Challenge #29

Hello friends! Happy 4th of July to all of you in the US! I'm sorry of being late today with my ISB Challenge post. But now here it is - finally!
I found a new digi-stamp site a few days ago called Kenny K Downloads. They just started their site and are still in the progress of adding images. But there are already images availabe for purchase and I think Kenny's images are just fabulous and so much fun to color. I'm already fallen for them..LOL. I like the glam gang images best so far. Can't wait for the others to be available :-) There is also a new challenge blog called Kenny K's Krafty Girl Challenges. The DT has just been announced and the first challenge is starting on July 11th. Looking forward playing in the challenges.

For my ISB-Challenge card I used one of the glam gang images called 'Rock Chick'. Our theme for this fortnightly challenge is a color challenge. And there are 2 color choices for you to choose from.

PINK - ORANGE - WHITE
or
GREEN - YELLOW - WHITE

I chose pink, orange and white. I really like this combination and think it is just ideal for this image. To enter and for all details on our challenge please visit our ISB Challenge blog!

I decided to make an Easel-Card and the sketch I used it from the ongoing MMSC #60 challenge. I colored the image with my Copics and added some sparkle to it using Stickles and Atyou Spica glitter pens.

Again I managed to use up my scraps and therefore I don't know exactly the brand of the DP. I think it is Fascy Pants and My Minds Eye. The sentiment stamp is from TGF and the smaller concentric stars are cut out with a Cuttlebug die and the big star behind the image is cut out using my Cricut (Christmas Cheer Cartridge) and then embossed with a CB folder. I also used a MS punch and the flowers are Prima.

I hope you all are having a great Sunday and if you are here in the US a great Holiday Weekend!Come and join us for this fun challenge! You have two weeks to play!

Thanks for taking some time and dropping in today!

Sweet Dreams - ISB Challenge 28

Happy Sunday and welcome to a new ISB-Challenge! Thanks for dropping in today. This time our theme is Swirls! Nice and easy isn't it? Use punched out swirls, stamp 'em, make them from half-pearls and rhinestones or do some doodling. No matter how just show us swirls :-)

On my card I used pearl & rhimestone swirls as well as a swirl cut out with my Cricut and the Home Accents cartridge. My image is from the brand new release 'Forever Young' from Belles 'n Whistles and is called 'Sweet Dreams'. I'm so in awe with this image isn't it just way too cute for words?!
I colored my image with a mix of Copics and colored pencils and I also added  soft shimmer to the hair and socks using twinkling H2O's (Heavenly White and Iridescent Gold) To ad some bling I used Stickles glitter glue (Stardust, Strawberry Ice, Platinum & Aqua). The roses and chandelier crystals are from Michaels (wedding section). DP is from Bo Bunny.

I wish you all a fabulous Sunday and hope to see you at our ISB-Challenge blog and joining in on the fun!

Copics used:
E 000, E25, E31, E50
R21
B000, B01, B04
'N' greys for shade

colored pencils where used on the skin & E000
I really liked combining those two coloring techniques.

ISB Challenge 27 - Shape it!

Hello everyone! It's Sunday and time for another fortnightly ISB Challenge. This time our theme is:

Shape it! - Make a card other than square or rectangular.

For all the details on the challenge and all the stunning creations of my DT sisters please see our challenge blog. For my card I used a quarter circle shape. Image is from WoJ (May store kit) and I colored that 1001 night beauty with my Copics. I used, flowers, ribbon, half-pearls, Stickles and Spellbinder dies (Fleur di Lis) for decorating.

Sorry for the rather short posting but I'm updating my Etsy shop right now, meaning I'm also re-stocking ;-) Soon I'm up-to-date there and my cards will be available for purchase again. Bubbling Birthday Wishes - ISB Challenge 26

Wonderful Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend so far. We have fabulous weather and I can't wait to go outside and enjoy the Sunday by the pool ;-)
It's time for another fortnightly ISB -Challenge. This time we have an inspiring sketch for you created by our wonderful talented Marina.

When I first saw the sketch I knew instantly what image I would like to use with it: 'Bubbling Tilda' from Magnolias Fairy Tale release. I got mine from Summer's store Roses on Paper . There is also a sale going on right now at Roses on Paper: 25% off most items! Go and check it out!

I colored Tilda with my Distress Ink Pads and she was stamped onto 140 lb watercolor paper with Archival Ink. I decided to do my card in a vintage distressed style look and also added lots of glitter. My DP is from Crafty Secrets 'Heartwarming Vintage Collection - classic' and CS is Bazzill. I added Crystal Glaze to the bubbles (also the big one Tilda is standing on) and gave her dress some extra bling using Twinkling H2O's Iridescent Gold after coloring it with distress inks. The flowers are from Magnolia, Prima and Whimsy Stamps. The sentiment is WOJ. My papers where distressed using a distressing tool and Distress Inks (Walnut Stain & Antique Linen).

As a reminder you do not have to use a certain stamp company anymore to participate in our ISB challenges.
As long as it is 'cute'.

Here are some more close ups:

I hope you join us over at ISB -Challenge Blog and please don't forget to check out the other wonderful
creations from my DT sisters! You'll find all challenge details as always on our challenge blog!

I hope you come back tomorrow for our first Belles 'n Whistles Challenge!!! From tomorrow on we are launching a new Belles 'n Whistles challenge every other Monday on our Belles 'n Whistles Blog. This is going to be solely a Belles 'n Whistles Challenge! Hope to see you tomorrow!

ISB - Challenge 25 - All About Boys/Men!

Happy Mothers Day to you all and welcome to a new ISB-Challenge. This time the challenge is all ablout Boys / Men! As our challenge last time was all about the Mom's now it's time for the men/boys in our lifes! And there are also some important news regarding the challenge rules. Ilona lifted the restriction to use only specific stamps. From now on you can choose the stamp you want. The rules is just to use at least one stamp on your project.

For my card I chose a Hero Arts stamp which I think is perfect for a men/boys card. This is not an image I commonly use but nice for a change and perfect for my project. My DP is all Basic Grey 'Granola', CS is Bazzill.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you joining our challenge!

ISB Challenge 24 - Mothers Day

Hi all! It's our 24th ISB-Challenge already, can you believe it? Time is flying like crazy. And because Mothers Day is waiting on our doorsteps already we decided to make this our theme this time. So we want you to create a Mothers Day card or project. And please keep in mind when joining us in this challenge you must be using one of the following stamps: Magnolia, Bildmalarna, The Greeting Farm, Stampavie, Nellie Snellen, Belles 'n Whistles, Alota Rubber Stamps or Ollyfant by Erica Pels. You have time to enter until May 8th, 6pm CEST. So please come and join us in this great challenge, won't ya?!

OK, onto my card now. I decided to ink up one of my Belles 'n Whistles sweeties which I haven't used yet. This is 'Bronzing Beauty' from the Spring/Clean/Summer Collection 2010. Isn't she just the cutests? Belles 'n Whistles stamps are also available through Ilona's store Bastelbedarf Regnery! Of course colored using Copics and Copic Airbrush System. I did not use a lot of embellies on this card just that big butterfly. This is a die from Marianne Design and available right HERE at Bastelbedarf Regnery! When I first saw this beautiful butterfly on a card I just had to have it and was so happy to find it at Ilona's store. Otherwise I have used some half-pearls and rhinestones and lots of Stickles to add sparkle and glimmer. The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking the time to check out my blog. I hope you could get some inspiration.

Love and Hugs,
