ISB - DT Challenge 23 - A Color Challenge

Hello Everyone! Welcome to a new fortnightly ISB-ChallengeI know I am two days late with my challenge posting and I do apologize :-/ ! But we finished our remodeling and I am more then happy that everything is finally done. Also our friends from Germany arrived yesterday. :-)

Woohoo I am soooo excited that I won the Midnight Madness Gold Star Award again with THIS card. Biiiiig thanks to Priscilla and the awesome Midnight Madness DT!!!!!!!!! I am honored!!!

We are having a great color challenge this time. And you'll have the chance of choosing from 2 color combinations.

Turquoise - Purple - White

or

Black & White plus one color of your choice

For all the details on the challenge and the stunning creations of my fellow DT sisters please see our Challenge Blog!

I decided to make a bookmark this time and went with the second color combination. Black, white and I chose turquoise as my third color. I colored 'Tilda with flowing hair' with my Copics. Papers I used are from Bazzill, DCWV (punched out flowers from glitter paper) and Martha Stewart (DP on the back). I did not embellish too much as I wanted the bookmark to be for daily use. I used Labels 6 from Spellbinders and the Retro Flower punches are from EK Success. I used Stickles glitter glue in turquoise and stardust for highlights and half-pearl swirls for embellishing. The clasp on Tilda's shoes and her necklace are made using my pearl pen.

I left the back plain, just DP:

Copics used:

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13, R000, R20
Hair: 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1, C0, C00

The dies are from Spellbinders and Nellie Snellen. I distressed around the edges of the paper using distress inks tea dye and brushed corduroy.

ISB Challenge 18 - Love and Hearts

Hello everyone and welcome to our 18th ISB Challenge. This time it's a theme challenge again: "Love & Hearts". We want you to create something with hearts, maybe for Valentine? This is not limited to cards, so get creative and let your creative juices flow. There are fantastic inspiring creations by my fellow DT sisters, make sure you visit their blogs (see sidebar). You have time to enter the challenge until  Saturday February 13th 6pm CET. Make sure you check our challenge blog a little later today (the new challenge and the winner of  the last challenge will be posted a little later today) to see what awesome prize Ilona has to offer this time.

I decided to make a Heart-Window card. I cut this card out using my Cricut and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge. This is also the Valentines card I like to give to my husband. I did not go with the usual red and pink colors. I got inspired by some papers from the new Basic Grey 'Sugar Rush' collection. Image is one of the new Belles 'n Whistles images from the Sweet Things collection and is called 'Kitty Love', colored with my Copics.

I am entering the following challenges with my card:

Stampavie & More with the Challenge 79  'Love Card / Valentine'

Cute Card Thursday with the Challenge 97  'Blooming Gorgeous'

My Time to Craft with Challenge 76  'Elegant Rose'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hallo zusammen und willkommen zur 18. ISB-Challenge. Dieses mal lautet das Thema "Love & Hugs".  Wir moechten das ihr etwas mit herzen kreiert, last Eurer inspiration freien Lauf. Dies kann, aber muss keine Karte sein, es kann irgendein anderes Paper-Project sein. Vergesst auch nicht die Blogs der anderen DT Members zu besuchen, da gibt es wunderschoene Sachen zu bestaunen (siehe sidebar). Ihr koennt an der Challenge teilnehmen bis Samstag, 13. Februar 18 Uhr MEZ. Vergesst auch nicht unseren Challenge Blog  fuer alle weiteren Details zu besuchen. Allerdings wird die Challenge dort erst etwas spaeter heute gepostet.
Ich habe mich diesmal fuer eine Heart-Window Karte entschieden. Ausgeschnitten habe ich sie mit meiner Cricut und der Tags, Bags, Boxes and more Cartridge. Ich habe nicht die ueblichen Valentinsfarben rot und pink gewaehlt sondern mich von einem der neuen Basic Grey Papiere aus der Sugar Rush Collection inspirieren lassen. Das Motiv ist eines der neuen Belles 'n Whistles Motive aus der Sweet Things Collection und heisst "Kitty Love". Coloriert habe ich wieder mit meinen Copics.
Mit meiner Karte nehme ich noch an folgenden Challenges teil:
Stampavie & More mit Challenge 79  'Love Card / Valentine'
Cute Card Thursday mit Challenge 97  'Blooming Gorgeous'
My Time to Craft mit Challenge 76  'Elegant Rose'
