New BnW Challenge - Anything Goes

 

Hello Friends! Happy Monday and welcome to a new BnW challenge! This fortnight it's my turn to host our BnW challenge. I thought I make it real easy for you,

Anything Goes!

is the theme I picked. I hope you all like to enter. Start creating what ever you want! No matter if it is a card, tag, bookmark, altered item, LO, stamped T-shirt etc. Everything counts! Just keep in mind you must be using one of Elisabeth Bell's designs! You have time until June 5th, 6pm European time to enter your creation. Winners will be announced shortly before our new challenge starts.

And here is my challenge creation. I used the cute Sweet Art Girl stamp 'Giddyup Horsey' 

 

I got inspired by my incredibly talented Whimsy DT sister Beate with the shape of my card. She makes the most incredible cards! I colored the cute SweetArt Girls image with Copics and Prisma Pencils. Sentiment is from Whimsy. The card shape is cut out using Spellbinders labels 8.

Shaping Up For May Flowers - New BnW Challennge

Hello my friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that all Mommies of you had an extra special day yesterday with lots of family fun!

Today starts a new challenge over at our BnW Challenge Blog and it is all about flowers! Our wonderful DT sister Lynda is the host this time and she also added a little twist to the challenge. To read more about it and to enter please visit our challenge blog HERE!

This Fairy cutie is called 'A Fairy Nice Flower' and from one of the new collections Fairy Friends. I colored her with my Copics and Prisma Pencils for the shadows. I also airbrushed the background.

Here is a closer look. I used Star Dust Stickles for some highlights on the image and the flower (see next photo).

The die I used to cut out the card shape is from Spellbinders. Pearls and rhinestones are from my stash.

Just a Little Note...

Hello Friends and Happy TGIF! I hope you are all looking forward to a wonderful weekend! Today I like to show you my BnW DT project for this week, a little moleskin cahier notebook I made or I should better say altered/decorated.

I stamped right onto the kraft cover and colored using Prisma pencils, a Prisma  pencil blender  and  a dry paper stump. This is for me the best method to color on kraft card stock and blend the colors nicely. The stamp I used is from the new Belles 'n Whistles SweetArt Girls collection and is called 'Here Kitty Kitty'. Sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash and I used only a matching ribbon for decoration. This little notebook has just the right size to fit in a purse. That's why I did not use any bulky embellishments and kept it clean and simple! Just a little Stickles Stardust (my absolute favorite!) for some sparkle.

Butterfly Dance - BnW Sketch Challenge

Hello my dear blogging friends! Hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend (for all of you who celebrated) and Happy Easter Monday to all who are lucky enough to have another holiday today. We had a wonderful weekend with lots of sunshine and Easter fun.

Today it's time for a new fortnightly Belles 'n Whistles Challenge hosted by my fabulous DT sister Anki! Anki came up with a fantastic sketch:

And this is my take on the sketch

I used this image from the new Fairy Friends Collection called 'Fairy Dance'. I colored her with my Prismas and Copics (for skin). To make the Pencils look even more brighter I used a colorless blender pencil. (Colors I used arelisted at the end of this posting). DP is from Basic Grey ('Hello Luscious'). Circle sentiment is from Whimsy's Spring Letter Seals. Circle die is from Spellbinders and the flourish die is from Magnolia. Ribbon, flowers, gems & button are from my stash. I used Star Dust, Waterfall and Platinum Stickles for some glitz. Butterflies are made using an EK Success punch.

On my first card I like to show you today I used 'Lilipad Dreams' from the Fairy Friends Collection. I colored using only Prisma Pencils and no Blender. DP is from Creative Impressions and MME. Dies are Spellbinders and Magnolia. Border punch is from MS. I added Stickles for some glitz.

On her wings I added (on top of the Prismas) Twinkling H2O's 'Iridescent Blue'. You can see it on this picture as I took it from a different angle.

The inside is decorated to match the outside.

And here is my creation using 'A Pen Friend' from the Sweet Art Girls Collection:

The DP I used here is from KaiserCraft. I colored her with Copics this time. Punches/dies use are from EK Success and Marianne Design. All embellies are from my stash.

BnW Spring Release - Another Peek & Whimsy Special Hop

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! WooHoo! Only 2 more days until Super Release Day at Belles 'n Whistles!!! And trust me this is going to be huge! 16 new stamps and you will love them all, he, he ;-)

BnW Spring Release Sneak Peek!

Hello everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the weekend! After several days of storms and rain we are having fabulous weather again! After some necessary grocery shopping I'm looking forward to a relaxing afternoon by the pool, enjoying the sun.

I have some great news to share today. We are having a huge Spring Release coming very soon at Belles 'n Whistles 

You can look forward to several surprises and lots and lots of cuteness, I promise!!! Summer will be releasing 16 new stamps which make up two new collections! And to keep you in suspense I have a little teaser for you :-)

Belles 'n Whistles Challenge - Glitter!

Hi all! A brand new Belles 'n Whistles Challenge starts today on our challenge blog HERE. Our sweet Gini is the host and she wants to see GLITTER on your cards/projects! Yay what a fun challenge - I LOVE glitter!

I colored again using pencils and the DP is from Basic Grey's Kioshi set. The large light blue paper flower in the upper right corner is handmade. If you are interested in how to make these kind of flowers please come back tomorrow ... I prepared a tutorial on how to make these.

I used this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch for my card.

Belles 'n Whistles Challenge - Celebrate Spring

Hello friends and welcome to a new Belles 'n Whistles Challenge. Lovely Jodi is our host this time and she wants to celebrate spring! So show us 'Spring' on your cards. Use Spring colors, embellishments, images etc. Anything to show off Spring!

I chose one of my favorite images, 'Beary Big Hugs' and colored it with Copics. DP is digital from Nitwitt Collections which I think is nicely 'Spring' themed. Also the cherry blossoms have a 'Spring' feeling for me as well as the colors pink, green white and red. Sentiment is from Whimsy.
