Whimsy Stamps Release - Soul Sisters

Hi there peeps!

It's time for another Whimsy Stamps Release today. On my release creation I am showcasing the adorable Soul Sister clear stamp set and matching dies. I colored with Copics. The cloud background I used for the left window was inked with Distress inks and the one on the right is a piece of designer paper from the Bizzy Bees papers.  For the cushions I used the NEW Calico 6x6 papers.

To create my card base and frame I used the Slimeline Card Builder die set. I love the versatility of this die because you have the option to create the windows for your slimline card the way you want or maybe you want non at all then just use the base frame. I used the square window to cut two windows on my slimline card. For the middle window I used the cut out from pink cardstock and created a white frame. The frame was put on top of the pink square in an offset angle to add some interest.

On my first card I decided to do a bit of a mixed media background using the Honeycomb Drip Stencil. I used Distress inks, pencils, gold watercolor and a golden DecoColor Marker to achieve a shiny gold effect on the drips. The Bizzy Bees were colored with Distress Inks and I used the Nested Hexagon die set and Honeycomb die to cut out small hexagons in gold, pink and black as my focal point together with the bees. 

My second Bizzy Bees card is a slimline card created with the Slimline Card Builder die. This time I colored the bees with Copics and for the background I used the also NEW Bizzy Bees 6x6 paper pack. Sentiments are included with the Bizzy Bees stamps set.

Whimsy Stamps July 1st Release - Hello Friend Bee Hapbee

Happy Whimsy Stamps Release Day!

Welcome to my blog today and to Whimsy Stamps first release for July 2020. Visit the Whimsy Store HERE to see all the new products. For my release project I made a slimline card using the NEW Slimline Five Frames Die and the NEW Hello Bear clear stamp set as well as the NEW Bizzy Bee 6x6 papers. 

I colored my images with Copics and used one of the Bizzy Bee papers as my background. What I love about the Slimline Five Frames Die  is that you have five separate little frames which gives you a ton of possibilities to use. You can get really artsy with these frames. LOVE it!!!

Summertime = Ice Cream Time

Hi Everyone!

Summertime = Ice Cream Time! Who doesn't love to indulge in some ice cream on a hot Summer day?! I know I do! I used the cute accessories stamps from the NEW Polka Dot Pals Kezia set to create my shaker card. The shaker frame was die cut using the NEW FADoodles Frames Scalloped Rectangles die set. 

I colored the images with my Tombow ABT Pro markers and they were stamped with Memento ink onto Hammermill Digital Color Copy Cardstock 100lb. The sentiment is from the Giraffe Peeking set.

Giraffe Hello

Hello Friends!

A little late but I want to share my creations for Whimsy Stamps latest mini release. Unfortunately some pretty sad real life events kept me from doing so last week. Here is my first creation using the super adorable Giraffes Peeking stamp set illustrated by Dustin Pike and the awesome FADoodles Frames by Faye.

I stamped with Ink on 3 Blackout Hybrid Ink onto Strathmore Mixed Media Paper and colored the image using Altenew's Watercolor Brush Markers. The sentiment is included in the FADoodles Frames set as is the little flower. I stamped the little flower onto white shrink plastic to make my own little matching charm. The BG paper I've used is from the Cosmic 6x6 paper pad. A few different sized sequins in matching colors finish off my card.
