The DT  have been sharing some amazing creations made with the new stamps over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating their release with a GRAND BLOG HOP!The hop starts today (Wednesday May 20th at 12.00PM noon ET) and ends on Friday, May 22nd at 12:00pm noon ET

My card today shows "Dolly" an image by Wee Stamps

"Dolly" was colored with alcohol markers. Papers are from Basic Grey's "Picadilly" line.  I used the large word die 'Cupcake' and the 'Stitched Border Die Trio'

Whimsy May Rubber Stamp and Die Release - Day 2 - Flowers in my Pocket

Welcome to Day 2 of our ...

May Rubber Stamp and Die Release

Over the next 3 days we will reveal 18 *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps/stamp sets  and 3 Die Sets. They will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and from selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday.

For my sneak peek card today I chose Meljens 'Flowers in my Pocket' stamp:

I went with a CAS style and the cute image was colored using alcohol markers. The following Shapeology dies were used: Stitched Circles Die Set and Corner Dies Set.

LaLa Land Crafts Challenge - Fussy Cutting

Hello Everyone! This weeks challenge at the LaLa Land Crafts Challenge blog  is "Fussy Cutting" - please see the blog for some inspirational photos. For all the details about the challenge and how to participate please also visit the La La Land Crafts blog.

For my GDT creation this week I used LaLa Land Crafts Baby Marci:

I cut out the image (something I rarely do) and used more intricate dies to comply with the challenge theme. Dies used: Heart Scroll Corners Die,  Stitched Ribbon Die  Heart Doily Border Die . 
The sentiment is included with the stamp.

Super Girl!

Hello Everyone and Happy Mothers Day Weekend! Today I have a card to share using Super Girl from Whimsy's Krista Heij-Barber Collection.

This is an almost one layer card...lol. I colored Super Girl with Copics and the outline is done with Sennelier water colors. The die cut stars are made using the Pierced Stacking Star die.

Hello All and a Very Happy Monday..it's the time of the week again...challegen time at  La La Land Crafts! Wow times flies - that's what Marci thinks too ;-) - we are in May already, isn't that crazy??

I colored Time Flies Marci using Copics. For a list of colors used please scroll down to the next picture. I've also used the Steampunk Border die, Tall Birdhouses  and Topiary Die set. The sentiment is one of the 2 sentiments which are included with the image stamp.

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend! Today I want to show a card I made using 'Baseball Love' by Time for Tea Designs from Whimsy Stamps.

She's been colored using Copics. Here are the colors I've used: Skin E000, E00, E04, E11, R20 - Hair E21, E25, E29 - Cloth R81, R83, R85, R89 - BV08, BV04, BV02, BV02, BV01, BV00, BV000 - Eyes YG09, YG05, YG67

The sentiment is from the Say it Big sentiment set. Papers are from a retired Whimsy paper pad.

LLLC Challenge - Something Sweet

Hello All! It's La La Land Crafts Challenge time again! Today we have the theme Something Sweet!

For all the details about the challenge and how to participate please visit the La La Land Crafts blog. 

For my GDT creation this week I used the adorable Beret Marci and Suitcase Set. It's another clean and simple creation this week.

I used Copics to color her and the die is from the NEW Heart Scroll Corners Die Set. The sentiment is included with the Suitcase Set. Not that the image is not sweet enough for the challenge theme, but I also added a cute little muffin charm to the bow :-) The background is done using Sennelier watercolors.

 My card today shows "Moondrop" an image by Lizzy Love

I colored her using my Copics. I also used the NEW Dress Making Die Set. The DP I've used is from MME's Unforgettable set, one of my favorites by My Minds Eye. To embellish I used flowers, pearls, Stickles, gauze, ribbon and lace.
