Time to Sparkle

Hello Everyone and Happy Weekend!

I have some release news for you :-D

Make sure to mark your calendars and get ready for some awesome sneak peeks on Monday , he, he, he!!!

My card today shows an older image from  Whimsy Stamps by Crissy Armstrong. It's called Young Spring Fairy and I colored it quite a while ago but never came around to actually put it on a card.

I also had the papers already picked out and since this was some time ago I unfortunately can't remember the company. I colored her with Copics and all my flowers are from WOC. The sentiment is from the 'Girl Talk' sentiment set by SC Designs.

A closer look on the image.

Thanks for stopping by today, your visit is very much appreciated! I hope you all can enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Hello!

Happy Saturday Crafting Friends! My creation today features Cozy Cardi by Time for Tea Designs from Whimsy's latest rubber stamp release as well as some dies from the recent Clearly Whimsy release.

Cozy Cardi was colored using pencils and alcohol markers and the outline was doodled using a Copic Multiliner Pen. The sentiment is die cut with the 'Hello' die from the new  'Say What - Speech Bubbles' die set.  The small die cut stars are from the same set. The wavy purple and yellow layers are created using the 'Stiched Border Die Trio'

Here is a closer look on the image. I also added some purple shades to her brunette hair.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Clearly Whimsy Stamps August Release - Day 1

Hi everyone and welcome to the first sneak peek day of the ...

Over the next 3 days we will reveal the new August 2014 Clearly Whimsy Stamps products. We are releasing 3 new clear stamp sets and 4 dies/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Saturday.

I am thrilled to be a GD for Clearly Whimsy Stamps this month! I had a blast creating with these awesome stamps and dies! Thanks so much for having me! :-)

Today we are revealing the Thanks A Million 4x6” stamp set and Basic Backgrounds & Borders 1 4x6” stamp set, together with the Thanks large word die and the Stitched Borders die set. Hop on over to the Whimsy blog for more details.

For my first card I used the 'Thanks' large word die and a sentiment from the 'Thanks a Million" set.

DP is from Basic Grey, CS from Bazzill. I've added a white ribbon and a button to embellish my card.

My second card is a one layer card using the 'thanks' die cut which was a 'left over' from my first card.

I've added another sentiment from the "Thanks a Million" set and stamped some of the cute tiny stars around the die cut and sentiment using Memento 'Pear Tart' ink. On the smallest stars I've added some matching Stickles for a bit of bling. The straight stiched border die embellishes both sides of the card.

Here's my last card:
The wavy stiched border die was used here to divide the card vertical. The word love (from the Thanks a Million 4x6 set) was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. DP is from Fancy Pants.

PRIZE ALERT ... We have hidden a fabulous prize of a $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE at one of the stops on today’s hop! We will draw the lucky winner from the comments left on today’s design team posts (listed below), so be sure to visit everyone and leave a comment to be entered into the draw:

If the broom fits...

Hello Friends :-) Here is a Whimsy Stamps creation I want to share with you. A CAS card I made today using the awesome Witch Hat Sentiment Set by Raindrop Echo Designs again.

I made the background spritzing ink onto white cardstock using Distress Markers and stamping "ink splats". The splats are from a Clearly Whimsy sentiment set called Distressed Backgrounds and Ink Splats by SC Design. Then I stamped the witch hat sentiment and added some sequins to embellish the card a little.

Thanks for stopping by

Guest Designer for Shaky A. - Margot

Happy Saturday Everyone! Here is my second guest designer creation for Shaky A. digi stamps. This time I've played with Margot, isn't she cute?

She's been colored with Copics and the card's made in a more clean and simple style than the one with Penelope the other day. The sentiment comes with the stamp and the papers are from a Glitz Design paper pad. Everything else is from my stash.

A close-up:

And a shot from another angle:

There's also a FB group to share all things Shaky A. HERE and a BLOG where the DT is sharing their amazing creations. Make sure you stop by and visit!
Thanks for having me Alberto, it was a pleasure to design with your amazing images! :-)
