Hello Everyone and Welcome to Whimsy Stamps September Holiday Rubber Release Sneak Peek Hop!

Today the Whimsy DT are kicking off our September Holiday Release by sharing sneak peeks of some of the brand new Wee Stamps, Kenny K and Crissy Armstrong stamps that will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store TOMORROW! 

For those of you who are new to Whimsy Stamps, we hold a 3-day new release event each month: a Sneak Peek Blog Hop on the day before the release (today), a Release Day Blog Hop on release day (tomorrow), and finally a Review Day Blog Hop the day after the release.  Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw!

I also have a new Candy up for grabs as promised. (Sorry it took me a couple days longer to post this but life was interfering). This time I have a Whimsy Holiday Sentiment Set to give away! Please scroll down to the end of this posting for more information and how to enter the candy.

Now onto my sneak peek creation ... I used *New* Rowan Fairy from Wee Stamps, colored with Copics:

Isn't she adorable? I also did some airbrushing around the image and used Bo Bunny DP and kraft cardstock. The sentiment is from the *New* Season's Greetings Notables 7 set, cut out with the coordinating *New* Notables 7 die. Flowers are from WOC and my stash. Silver corner embellishment, chandelier garland and pearl stars are also from WOC. Rhinestones are from my stash.

Dress: R24 - R46 - R59, YR30 - YR31 - Y26

Sprig & Berries: G20 - G21 - G24 - G28, T3 - T4

Outer shine: YR21  airbrushed

 The inside is decorated to match the outside. The sentiment on the inside is from the *New* Holiday Cheer sentiment set.

Happy TGIF dear crafting friends! Phew it's been over a week again since my last post. Well I guess you can tell it's summer time and I'm not spending too much time on the computer or crafting ;-)  But today I have a card to share with you. It's a creation I made back in March/April I think. It was for our  Whimsy Stamps Inspirational Magazine, issue 12.

I used Playful Kittens from Whimsy's Wee stamp collection. An oldie but goodie! (They are sold out at the moment but I'm sure will be back in stock soon again.) I colored the little kitty with Copics. Please find a list of Copics I used with the next picture. 

The sentiment was a Whimsy Special Freebie in a UK magazine and the paper is from Whimsy's Designer Papers, Whimsy Romance. The heart is made with a Marianne die and the corner die is from Whimsy's Shapeology collection.

My Card in Papercraft Essentials Magazine!

Happy Weekend Everyone! I hope ya'll having a great time! Today I want to share some fab news with you! The two great Whimsy artists Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps and Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs created an exclusive set of stamps for the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials Magazine (UK). These stamps are included for free with issue 82! My Whimsy DT sisters Simonne, Tammy Louise, Lori, Mariska and I had the great opportunity to already work with these stamps and create projects for the recent issue. We all got published and I am so proud to be one of them! Both of my cards got published! :-D My very first publication in a printed magazine, woohoo! ;-)  Thanks to Denise Lynn from Whimsy Stamps, Sylvia Zet, Ann Vento and of course the publishers of Papercraft Essentials Magazine for the great chance.

And here is one of my cards that can be seen in the current Papercraft Essentials Magazine issue 82:

Isn't that Wee girl just super adorable? And don't forget, you can get your own set of these stamps (images and sentiments!) now for free with issue 82 from PE magazine! She was colored with Copcis and pencils. Paper is from the Bo Bunny Serenity Collection. The flourish swirl is a Whimsy die from the vines die set and the chandelier garland is from Whimsy as well! The gorgeous sentiment Ann created for the set and comes with the stamps! All other embellies are from my stash.
