You Are Purrfect!

Hi Everyone! Here is another card I made using products from Whimsy's most recent release. I combined the new Kitty Frame die and Scribdoodle critter papers with earlier released products You Are word die set and Kitty Cat Extras die set.

To make the large words pop I die cut them several times from black cardstock, layered them and added 3D gloss on top. When I added the Kitty Frame I first thought of making a shaker card. I think this is just what this frame screams...SHAKER! Then I decided otherwise and wanted to make it pop without being a shaker. I added blue cardstock for the background that matches my designer paper. I added the word 'purrfect' die cut from bright pink cardstock and added a little fishy and some sequins. I think it is just the perfect little element to coordinate with my large word sentiment and the background papers.

Ho, Ho, Ho, - Black and White Christmas

Ho, Ho, Ho, - come and celebrate another awesome Whimsy Christmas release with us! There are awesome stamps like the cutest reindeer and penguins as are there some amazing slimline products. One of them, the Slimline Diagonal Dots, I am using on my black & white Christmas card.

I decided to keep my card just black and white. One half of the BG being a pattern paper from the Christmas Eve 6x6 papers  released earlier this month and the other half was embossed using the NEW Slimline Diagonal Dots embossing folder. I love this pattern, soooo versatile and perfect for any occasion. Then I cut out the words Merry and Christmas each from black and white cardstock. I wanted them to be half black and white as well. I kept the design very simple with just a few sequins for decoration.

Oh Holy Night!

Hello Everyone! Here comes yet another awesome mini release from Whimsy Stamps! The card I created using the newly released 'Oh Holy Night' die set and 'Stained Glass Window' die set is below.

I created a tea light card. It is a tri-fold card and I used vellum behind the windows. You can put a (or several) electric tea lights behind the card and the glow shows through the vellum windows. It serves two purposes.....a greeting card and a Christmas decoration. Makes a nice gift for family and friends.

For the side windows I used the star dies from the 'Primitive Shaker Shapes' set. The 'Oh Holy Night' sentiment which is included with the 'Oh Holy Night' set was cut out several times from black cardstock and once from white cardstock. I then layered and glued them together for a raised effect.

Here is a close-up of the main window. I kept the colors to black, silver, gold (shine and shimmer) and glittter white. I wanted it to have a more elegant look.

Here is the main window with the tea light on.

Whimsy Stamps November 1st Release - Believe

Whimsy Stamps November 1st Release is available in the store now!

There is also an IG Release Hop going on (from today Nov 1st 10am to Nov 3rd 11:59 EST). There is a $25 prize up for grabs! Make sure and check that out HERE

Wow time sure flies! So today we are starting into the month of November already! I can't believe that in about 1.5 weeks I will be decorating our house for Christmas ( I usually start Nov. 11th which is St Martin's Day in Germany and I continued the tradition over here)! Whimsy's release today preludes the Christmas season full force - and I love it! It's my favorite time of the year after all!

I am sharing this Christmas Slimline Card today. To create the background I used the NEW Holly Slimline Embossing Folder and a piece of kraft cardstock. After running it through my Vagabond I used a rose gold metallic ink pad and slightly rubbed over the embossed parts of the cardstock panel. I wanted to make sure that only the embossed parts will be inked. I like the subtle rose tone the rose gold ink pad left on the kraft cardstock and the beautiful sheen it has.
The frame around the background was created with the Slimline Birthday Scallops die set that I cut from white glitter paper.

I then cut the NEW Believe Word & Shadow die from white and kraft cardstock. The ornament was cut from satin sheen gold cardstock then stamped and embossed (with copper EP) using the Elegant Ornament die and Elegant Ornaments clear stamp set.
I glued the ornament onto the embossed BG and the Believe word and shadow where adhered using foam dots. To finish my card I added a little rhinestone the to letter 'i' and a few glitter dots on the background using a clear stardust gelly roll pen.

North Pole Greetings

Happy TGIF! Here is another Christmas card using a combination of newly released products from this month and earlier released products all by Whimsy Stamps.

Here I used the NEW Twisty Frame die set and the NEW Sweater Slimline Embossing Folder together with the Happy Feet clear stamp set that was released last year. I lust adore these cute penguins!

Of course I had to make another shaker card...just couldn't resist.😎 I colored the cute penguin image using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

Bunny Christmas

Hey All! Using the Whimsy Stamps SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline Papers together with any stamped image makes fantastic, easy and fast Christmas cards.

On my card I used the 'Bunny Winter Holiday' clear stamp set illustrated by Crissy Armstrong together with one of the  SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline Papers. I cut out the patterned paper using the Slimline Fancy Frame die set. The banner I used for the sentiment is from the same die set. To add some glitz I decorated the card with Sparkletz - Crystal Stars.

Sandy Wishes

Here is a Christmas card I made using the awesome 'Hourglass' die from Whimsy Stamps. It's such a versatile die that can be used year round for any occasion. On my creation I combined it with the 'Calm Christmas' and 'Decorate a Tree' set from this months release.

To add more detail and interest to the card I made it a shaker card and filled it with 'Merry & Bright' Sprinkletz.

Here is another angle:
