Pixie Cute & Sketch Saturday

Hi everyone! Oh my was I lazy this week creating .... lol. Sometimes one has to have a timeout to start fresh and full of energy :-) Looks like my batteries are fully charged again..so here is my card for today! :-) I used my new Pixie Heidi stamp from C.C. Designs and colored her using my Copics. I also pimped my flowers using my new Daisy Burst Spacer's. You can order them here from Roses on Paper . This is also my entry for this weeks sketch challenge over at Sketch Saturday! Pretty short post today I know but I got a looooot of errands to run...

Hallo zusammen! Oh je war ich faul die Woche mit basteln .. lol. Aber manchmal braucht man ne Auszeit um dann wieder voller Energie und frisch zu starten. Und hier auch gleich wieder eine Karte, mit frischer Energie ;-) Ich habe meinen neuen Pixie Heidi Stempel von C.C. Designs verwendet. Coloriert habe ich mit meinen Copics. Meine Blumen habe ich aufgemotzt mit meinen neuen Daisy Burst Spacern, die ihr hier bei Roses on Paper findet. Dies ist auch mein Beitrag fuer die dieswoechige Challenge bei Sketch Saturday! Ein ganz kurzer Post heute, da ich viel zu erledigen habe....

Smookie the Dragon

Hello everyone and Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty relaxing, we enjoyed the steaming hot weather, having BBQ and were swimming in the pool.

My card for today shows one of Nellie Snellen's Smookie images. I totally adore this little Dragon.
Isn't he the cutest hanging on to the balloon? I colored him with Copics and Spica Glitter Pens.
All my papers are from my scraps box. I definitely have to use my scraps more often I got loads of it! I distressed the edges around the image using Tim Holtz distress ink Spiced Marmalade.
I cut out the image using Polka Dot Frame die from Spellbinders. Otherwise I kept the card pretty simple. Just a ribbon and a ssome Basic Grey Blingz in the corners. For all the details on products used scroll down to the cards recipe at the end of the post!

Hallo und einen schoenen Start in die neue Woche! Ich hoffe ihr hattet alle ein schoenes Wochenende. Meines war ziemlich relaxend, wir genossen das heisse Wetter, hatten BBQ und Spass im Pool. Auf meiner heutigen Karte habe ich eines von Nellie Snellen's Smookie images verwendet. Die findet ihr bei Ilona im Shop! Ist er nicht suess der kleine Drache wie er da am Ballon haengt? Ich habe ihn mit Copics und Spica Glitter Pens coloriert. Alles Papier was ich verwendet habe stammt aus meiner Restebox. Ich muss oefter in meine Restebox greifen, ich habe sooooo viel davon! Die Render ums Motiv habe ich mit Tim Holtz distress ink Spiced Marmalade distressed. Das Motiv habe ich ausgetanzt mit dem Polka Dot Frame von Spellbinders. Ansonsten habe ich die Karte ziemlich einfach gehalten, nur noch ein Band und ein paar Blingz Glitzersteinchen in den Ecken!

With Deepest Sympathy

Hello everyone! Well I didn't plan to show you these cards today, but unfortunately there are not only happy moments in life. I got a call from my Mom this morning telling me that a dear neighbour and friend passed away. I spent lots and lots of happy hours at her place when I was a child. And both of her daughters had fun baby sitting me. So I made these cards to be sent to them with my condolences. I kept the cards clean and simple because that is what I like best for sympathy cards. They are on their way to Germany already...

Hallo zusammen! Also diese Karten hatte ich eigentlich nicht fuer heute geplant, aber leider gibt es nicht nur glueckliche momente im Leben. Meine Mom rief heute morgen an und erzaehlte mir das eine liebe Nachbarin und Freundin verstorben ist. Als Kind habe ich viele, viele gleuckliche Stunden bei ihr verbracht! Und beide ihre Toechter waren meine Babysitter. Ich habe die Karten gemacht um ihnen mein Beileid auszusprechen. Die Karten habe ich bewusst schlicht gehalten, da mir das fuer einen solchen Anlass immer am besten gefaellt. Sie sind bereits unterwegs nach Deutschland....

Car Lovers Birthday

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday! Only one more day to go and than the long awaited long weekend is here, YAY! I'm so looking forward to Sunday. We are going to visit our sweet little Boxer puppy for the first time. She'll be joining our family soon, just a few more weeks to go! Can't wait! We already have a doggie, a Doberman lady namend Cleo. She is such a sweetheart and I think she will be thrilled to have a little sister to play with ;-)

The card I'm showing you today is a birthday card for a friend. He loves cars and that is why I chose this image. Not one of my usual images but very appropriate for his birthday ;-)
This card has already landed in Germany and I hope he'll like it.

Hallo und einen schoenen Donnerstag! Ja fuer uns hier noch ein Tag und dann ist's Zeit fuer's lange Wochenende. In Deutschland hat das ja fuer viele schon heute begonnen. Unser Feiertag ist am Montag. Ichy freu mich so auf Sonntag da werden wir das erstemal unseren kleinen Boxer Welpen besuchen fahren. Sie wird bald Mitgleid unserer Familie sein, nur noch ein paar wenige Wochen. Wir haben bereits einen Hund eine ganz suesse und liebe Dobermann Huendin namens Cleo, sie wird begeistert sein einen neuen Spielkameraden zu bekommen!

Die Karte die ich Euch heute zeige ist eine Geburtstagskarte fuer einen Freund. Er liebt Autos und deshalb habe ich dieses Motiv gewaehlt. Nicht eines meiner ueblichen Motive aber fuer den Anlass sehr passend ;-) Die Karte ist bereits in Deutschland eingetroffen und gefaellt hoffentlich.

Cute as a Cupcake - clean and simple

Hello everyone and hope you all had a great day! I have this Hampton Art stamp with these cute cupcakes now sitting in my drawer for weeks. Finally yesterday it was the time to ink it up and make this card. It's another one for the category "clean and simple". I just added a little sparkle to the image with my Stickles in matching colors. Image was colored using my copics. The sentiment is a stamp I found at Michaels in the $1 Dollar bin and is from Hampton Art as well. CS is from Bazzill and DCWV and the DP is from the "Sweet" paper pad also from DCWV. The silder tag was cut out with my nesties, flower is from Prima and button and ribbon from my stash. The little pink bow I made using my new bow maker from Joy! Crafts.

Diesen Hampton Art stempel habe ich nun schon einige Wochen in meiner Schublade liegen und gestern war es dann endlich Zeit ihn einzuweihen und diese Karte zu machen. Eine wietere fuer die Reihe "Clean and Simple". Mit farblich passenden Stickles habe ich etwas funkeln auf die Cupcakes gesetzt. Das Motiv habe ich coloriert mit meinen Copics. Der Spruch ist auch ein Hampton Art Stempel den ich mal fuer $1 Dollar in meinem oertlichen Bastelgeschaeft gefunden habe. CS ist von Bazzill und DCWV und DP ist aus dem "Sweet" papierblock von DCWV. Den Tag habe ich mit meinen Spellies gestanzt, die Blume ist von Prima und Knopf und Band aus meinem Vorrat. Die kleine rosa Schleife habe ich mit dem Schleifenbinder von Joy! Crafts gebunden. Das ist ein super handliches Teil mit dem man ruckzuck wunderschoene gleichmaessige Schleifen binden kann. Geradezu ideal fuers Kartenbasteln!
