Boo!!!

Happy Saturday all! Boo! is the little Tilda witch saying on my card ;-)  Isn't she sweet? Yes I know I just posted a card using this image on Tuesday. But I had a request to make another one similar to the first one. And because I don't duplicate my cards I made a little different layout and different colors.

I colored Tilda with Copics and also airbrushed around the image. DP is Basic Grey Eerie again and the sentiment stamp on the outside is from Alota. The Halloween Treat bag is another stamp from Magnolia. The little spider with the wiggle eyes is a sticker (Recollections) I found this week at Michaels. Flowers are from my stash and the border punch is from SU!

I used Stickles glitter glue on Tilda, the sentiment and the flowers.

I made the little easel card effect on the image part and you can lift Tilda up. The stamps I used underneath are all from Michaels.

Here's a closer look!

The inside is decorated as well.

This card was ordered by Charity, thanks so much!

I enter this card into this weeks challenge from A Spoon Full Of Sugar : Everything Goes!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Trick or Treat

Boo to you! ;-) The card I like to show to you today is all about Halloween. I used my little sitting witch Tilda for the first time and I think she is so adorable! I colored her, using my Copics, which I do more often than not lately. The image was stamped onto Cryogen Iridescent paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

DP is from Basic Grey's Eerie collection and the sentiment stamp is from Alota.

I followed the sketch from 7 kids challenge blog's ongoing challenge. I made the image like a little easel card. You can put it up and it will reveal another little sentiment (Magnolia).I also enter this card into the Magnolia-licious Highlites Fall/Halloween Challenge.

The flowers are from my stash. The glittery pumpkin is a button which I found at Michaels as well as the chandelier crystals.

I also decorated the inside of the card. The image stamp on the lower part is a stamp from Motivet which I received from my dear friend Claudia for my birthday! Again thank you soooo much sweetie and also the wonderful card and goodies that were included ;-) The sentiment here on the inside is from Magnolia as is the little Jack 'o Lantern stamp on the top part. The cut out pumpkin is made with a Cuttlebug die and embossing folder. Here are some more detailed pictures of the inside:

I also used a lot of Stickles all over my card ;-) I just love the stuff ;-D

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop!
edited to add: just sold to Sheryl, thanks so much!

And last but not least here are the Copics I've used:
(I also did some Airbrushing)

Thanks for taking the time and visiting me today :-)

Japanese Influence

Edited 9-17-10: I added 2 pictures. I made a matching box for the card! To view scroll down!

Hello all and only one day to go for the weekend! :-) As soon as I saw this cute Japanese Tilda a LO of my card formed instantly in my head....lol. Sometimes I just have to look at an image and I exactly know what I want to do with it. I was inspired by a Japanese Shoji (a japanese kind of screen / folding screen which is being used as room divider or in front of windows, made out of wood and paper)

Tilda was stamped onto cryogen white iridescent paper from Arjo Wiggins using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored her in with my Copics (a list of used Copics follows at the end of this posting).

I made the fan using Spellbinders Dahlia die set.. The little tassle I made out of embroidery floss. The DP is from the Basic Grey 'Whisteria' pad and DCWV 'The Far East' stack. Highlights where set with Stickles 'Star Dust' and 'Waterfall' as well as a Stardust gelly pen.

The sentiment is from Stempendous and the swirls stamp is from Hero Arts. The paper flowers on my card are from Magnolia and Whimsy Stamps. Also this tassle is made from embroidery floss and decorated with beads.

Here you can see all the dimension on the card

And here is the matching box for the card:

This card is for sale and will be available in my Etsy shop tomorrow!

Happy Anniversary & VACATION!!! :-)

Hello all and thanks for stopping by and visiting me here today! This will be my last post for approx. the next 3-4 weeks. Vacation time...woohoo! :-) I'm so looking forward to it and it's also nice to give my creative mojo a rest ;-)

The card I want to show to you today was made to order. It's an anniversary card and the couple who's celebrating love's red. so I did my best using lots of red ;-)

The image is from Magnolias 'Wedding Collection' and I colored it using Distress Inks this time. I"ve stamped onto 300g /140lb hot press watercolor paper with Archival Ink black.

I also used Magnolia Doo Hickey dies (tag, swirls and border) and punches from MS (heart and heart border (visible in first picture on the back of the envelope)) The papers are Basic Grey (DP) and Bazzill (CS).

I'll list the colors I've used at the end of this posting.

The flowers are from Whimsy stamps and the chandelier crystals from Michels (wedding section). The pearl heart I found recently at craftembellishmentworld.com. Sentiment is from Alota.

I also decorated the inside. The heart stamp is from Magnolia as well (from the 2009 Valentine's collection, if I'm not mistaken). And the doilie heart punch is a MS punch again.

And here is a final look at the card and the matching decorated envelope.

Ok so I'll hopefully see you here again in 3-4 weeks. Maybe there will be 1 or 2 postings going up until I'm away. Depending if I can manage to finish 2 creations I already started..... will see how things go today and tomorrow! But after that I won't be on the computer as much at all...

Have great day all!
