Believe in Magic



Hi All! Hope you are all having a good week so far. Appropriate for October I have a nice fall image from Whimsy's October rubber release share with you today. It's a stamp from the Whimsy Elisabeth Bell line and called Sunny Harvest Sally

I've colored her using Copics, stamped onto X-press It card with Memento Tuxedo Black. The sentiment is from the *New* Christmas Moments sentiment set. I also used the wavy die from the Stitched Border Trio as an accent. The flowers are from 'WOC' and the the rhinestone swirls from 'Want 2 Scrap'.

Whimsy Stamps August Rubber Stamp & Die Release


Hi Everyone and welcome to Day 1 of our ...

August rubber stamp and die release!

Over the next 3 days we will reveal the new August 2014 Whimsy Stamps products. We are releasing 11 new red rubber stamps/stamp sets and 3 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday.

Today we are excited to show you the brand new Elisabeth Bell, Time for Tea Designs and SC Design stamps being released this month.
  
For my release project today I inked up "Picked Sweet Summer Song" by Elisabeth Bell.

The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps 'Mini Chalkboard' sentiments by SC Design. Papers are from Bo Bunny (Autumn Serenity) and the die cut butterfly is a Whimsy Shapeology die from the Elegant Butterflies die set.


The sweet image was colored using Copics and Graph It markers.

Whimsy Stamps July Release Blog Hop!

Whimsy Stamps May Rubber Stamps and Die Release - Day 5



Hello All! Today is the last day of the Whimsy Stamps May release!

Today the spotlight is on the new Elisabeth Bell and Time for tea Designs images. For a full hop list please scroll down.

For my release creation today I choose 'Zoe Butterfly' from Elisabeth Bell.

The sentiment is by SC Designs from the new 'Life's Moments' set. I also used the Whimsy Picket Fence Die. I added Frantage Shabby White embossing powder to the picked fence die and also to the wooden butterfly embellie. The papers are Whimsy Designer Papers from the Vintage Basic and In the Garden sets. 


She was colored using Distress Ink refillers. I stamped her onto Langton 140lbs hot pressed 'grain satine' watercolor paper. This has turned out to be my favorite hot pressed watercolor paper.

Be Like A Flower....


Hi Everyone! Today I want to share a Criss-Cross card with you I made using 'Miss Apple Blossom Vignette' from Whimsy's Little Cottage Cuties Collection by Elisabeth Bell.

I colored using Copics and the Background is done using Sennelier L'Aquarelle water colors. Papers are from Bo Bunny and Flowers are from my stash (most of them are from WOC) The large flower die is from Memory Box.


On the inside is a sentiment from the Spring Notables 8 set cut out with the matching Notables 8 die.

Season's Greetings - Whimsy Stamps featured in Magnolia Ink



Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you are all having a good start into the new week! I'm still dealing with an injured knee and have to take it easy. So not much walking around for me these days :-/ But on the happy side that gives me more time to sit down and be creative ;-) 

Before we are completely into Valentines and Spring creations I like to show you another Christmas card I made. It was published in the latest Magnolia Ink magazine 'Winter Wonderland', page 61.


Whimsy Stamps was featured in this magazine and this cute image is called "Little Jack and Bobbin Christmas" by Elisabeth Bell. Here's what I made:

Coloring: Copic Markers, X-Press It Card and Memento Tuxedo Black ink

Dies: Choo Choo Train, Layered Snowflakes, Holly & Berries - all Whimsy
Holiday Goodie Border - Memory Box
Design Paper: Echo Park

Other: Flowers (WOC), small jingle bells, coarse glass glitter, pearls and rhinestones (Hobby Lobby), lace, ribbon and hat pin (stash), wooden snowflake ornament (Michales)

Whimsy Stamps Challenge - Party Time


12-13-2013: Edited to add the marker colors I've used!

Today it's the Rubber DT's turn to show their inspirational creations for this month's challenge over at the Whimsy Inspirations Challenge Blog. Please visit the blog for all the details on the challenge. This month's theme is Party Time.

Here is what I came up with:

I colored the cute SugarPlum Fairy from Whimsy's Elisabeth Bell collection. Sentiment is from the Party Mini Letter Seals. I also used Whimsy DP Merry & Bright and the Shapeology Corner Dies. Flowers are from WOC and othjer embellies from my stash.



The fairy was colored using a mix of Copics and Touch Twin markers. I'll post a list of colors used a little later today.

Here are the marker colors I used (TT = TouchTwin, C = Copic):

Pink: TT - RP196, RP138, RP17, RP292, C - RV0000
Green: TT - GY231, GY234, GY48, Y38, GY163

Whimsy Stamps October Release Hop - Peace on Earth


Hello Everyone and welcome today to the Whimsy Stamps October Release Hop! Today is the second day of our release hops and the Whimsy DT is showcasing today new images from Crissy Armstrong and Elisabeht Bell.

For my release card today I chose one of Elisabeth Bells new images called Guardian Angel.


The image was colored with alcohol markers and cut out with Spellbinders ovals. The card base is cut out with Spellbinders Card Creator 5x7 and Labels 28. The sentiment is from Crissy's Peace on Earth set and cut out with a Cuttle Bug tag die. I also used the *New* Shapeology Rocking Horse die and the Large Leafy Flourish die.

Oh Happy Days ...



Happy Sunday Everyone! Today's the last day to enter my candy, here.
