Shenanigans

Whimsy Stamps first release for February hit the store shelves 2 days ago. It is an awesome selection of stamps and dies with many of them St. Patrick's themed.

On my card I used the NEW Shenanigans Lassie die set, NEW Shenanigans Word & Shadow die set as well as the previously released  3in1 Mitered Frames die.
I die cut the shamrocks from a piece of cardstock which I had watercolored with green and blue tones to match my card base and frame. The branch was hand painted using watercolors as well.
I die cut the word shenanigans from black cardstock with matching colors for the shadows. I put the die cut lassie partly behind the word. Her dress is cut from shiny gold cardstock and her hat and shoes are sparkling white.

Slurp!

Hello Everyone!
The card I am sharing today is made with several products from Whimsy's newest release. I made a slimline card and in addition to the new products used I've also used an earlier released embossing folder. My image was colored using Copic markers. Please see my link list below for all products used.

Love Card - Quick & Easy!

Hello crafty friends! On my card today I am using two of the Whimsy products released earlier this month. SurReally Cool Sweatheart slimline papers and the Love Heart die.

I love when you can create a card with just two products. The NEW slimline SurReally Cool Sweetheart paper pack makes it really easy. These backgrounds do not need a lot of embellishing. With just an image or a die cut you can create fabulous cards in no-time.
My base is an A2 sized horizontal top-fold card base in hot pink. The next layer is cut from white glitter paper and a perfect mount for my designer paper background. The Love Heart is also cut from white glitter paper. I used a glue pen to add adhesive to the back of the heart. A few matching pink sequins finish off my card.

SurReally Love My Space Moonie

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday time and wishing you all a very happy, healthy, peaceful, and joyful 2023.

I know you haven't seen anything new from me since earlier in December. Sorry for being MIA again. Life interfered again with my crafting time. My family needed my undivided attention due to some cases of illness. Unfortunately some of them very serious. So December was quite stressful and exhausting for us. But we are strong and we will pull through.

I still have some cards to share from December and I will do so and post them throughout the month of January.

For today I have a NEW project - a slimline card - to share which I made with products from the January 1st release. All the new products are available in the Whimsy store HERE

I used the NEW awesome SurReally Cool Sweatheart slimline papers to create the background for my slimline card. These designer papers are fantastic and provide a perfect backdrop for your cards.
I then used the Space Moonies clear stamp set and outline dies to add details to my card.
I stamped some constellations directly onto the background paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The heart moon and the space moonies couple were stamped onto Hammermill 80lb paper and colored with Copics. I then cut them out using the matching outline dies and adhered them to my card front with foam squares. The sentiment - which is included with the stamp set - was stamped onto white cardstock and cut out using a die from the Quick Strip die set. Some added Stardust Stickles here and there finish off my card.

Made of Stardust

Happy Release Day! It's the last release of the year at Whimsy Stamps and I have an A2 sized card to share created using the Infinite Wishes stamp set.

To create the frame I used the A2 Antique Frames die set. I cut out the frame from pink cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder using sparkling Versamark ink to add some glitz. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. The sentiment and stars are included with the set.

Believe

Fröhlichen Nikolaus Tag! Happy Saint Nicholas Day! Did you get your shoe filled? In Germany it is tradition for the kids to get their boots filled with treats on the night of December 6th. Is there such a tradition here in the US as well? It was never celebrated here where we live. Let me know if  it is tradition to celebrate Saint Nicholas of Myra on December 6th (or in some areas December 5th) where you live.

Today I have a quick and easy card to share. Another green one!

I started out with a bright green, A2 sized card base. Then I used the three largest dies from the A2 Antique Frame die set and cut out each frame from different cardstock (green metallic shimmer, gold shimmer and bright green) and stacked them on top of each other. I cut out the Believe Word & Shadow die from gold (word) and black (shadow) cardstock. To give a nice contrast I wrapped a red ribbon around the stacked frames and adhered the word with foam dots on top of the stacked frames. A little rhinestone as dot on the i finish off my card.

You're Totally Llamazing

Hello crafty friends! How llamazing is this? I have some new release inspiration from Whimsy Stamps using the Mini Slim Swiss Dots Die, A2 Antique Frame Die Set and Llamazing Llamas stamp set.
You can shop all products I used here: https://bit.ly/3h5PHMi

I was feeling 'green' so I went bright and bold with my colors. My card base is a lime green and to make the Swiss Dots die cut stand out I opted for black as contrasting color. The darker green shade behind the Llama gives a nice contrast too. I think this guy looks just adorable freshly sheared. I used Copics to color and a few black and lime green opalescence sequins finish off my card.

I Moose You

Happy Monday! Isn't this little guy just adorable? Here is another card using the cute 'Moose You' clear stamp set released this month by Whimsy Stamps. I colored him using my Copics. I also used a triangle piece of a toner card front from the Slimline Celebrations 2 pack and foiled it with rainbow foil. This time I left the background white on the toner card front to have a nice contrast to the rainbow foil and also to make it more pop on my turquoise card base. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used one of the Simple Sentiment Strip dies to cut it out. Please find a link list below of all the Whimsy products I've used on my card.

Merry and Love Peace & Joy

Hello! Today I want to show you two quick cards I made using only dies, toner card fronts and designer paper from Whimsy Stamps.

On this I used the new A2 Toner Card Fronts Festive Holidays. I first colored in the holly and then foiled using gold foil. I then cut out the word Merry with the Merry word die. I also cut it out several times from red cardstock and layered it underneath the cut out toner card to give a shadow effect.

This card here is even more simple. A panel of the new Blissful Blues paper and the Peace Love Joy die set cut out from gold foil cardstock.

Thanks for visiting!
