North Pole Greetings

Happy TGIF! Here is another Christmas card using a combination of newly released products from this month and earlier released products all by Whimsy Stamps.

Here I used the NEW Twisty Frame die set and the NEW Sweater Slimline Embossing Folder together with the Happy Feet clear stamp set that was released last year. I lust adore these cute penguins!

Of course I had to make another shaker card...just couldn't resist.😎 I colored the cute penguin image using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

Bunny Christmas

Hey All! Using the Whimsy Stamps SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline Papers together with any stamped image makes fantastic, easy and fast Christmas cards.

On my card I used the 'Bunny Winter Holiday' clear stamp set illustrated by Crissy Armstrong together with one of the  SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline Papers. I cut out the patterned paper using the Slimline Fancy Frame die set. The banner I used for the sentiment is from the same die set. To add some glitz I decorated the card with Sparkletz - Crystal Stars.

Sandy Wishes

Here is a Christmas card I made using the awesome 'Hourglass' die from Whimsy Stamps. It's such a versatile die that can be used year round for any occasion. On my creation I combined it with the 'Calm Christmas' and 'Decorate a Tree' set from this months release.

To add more detail and interest to the card I made it a shaker card and filled it with 'Merry & Bright' Sprinkletz.

Here is another angle:

Winter Fun on the Beach

Hello Friends! How would you feel as a snowman enjoying the beach? Well the fella on my card is visibly enjoying it. 😉⛄

To create my card I used the Calm Christmas clear stamp set from Whimsy's most recent release. I stamped onto Arches hot press paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and colored with Dr. Ph. Martins Radiant Liquid Watercolors. I fussy cut the image and adhered it to the card front using foam dots.

The sentiment is included with the set. I stamped it on watercolor paper, colored it with matching colors and cut it out using the Quick Strip die set. A few enamel dots finish off my CAS style card.

It's looking a lot like Christmas - Whimsy Mini Release

Hey Friends! It's looking a lot like Christmas.....I know it's not even been Halloween but I am a sucker for all things Christmas 🎄🎅 And the newest Whimsy Mini Release is just right up my alley. My absolute favorite time of the year and creating Christmas cards just rounds it all up. So it's official now there wont be any more Halloween cards on my blog for this year.....sorry for all you Halloweeners 🤗. Oh well...maybe one more on Halloween day...IF the mood strikes LOL.

Ok enough blabber, onto my creations for this release today.

First up is a Christmas card I made using the NEW Vintage Poinsettia clear stamp set. Oh is this stamp set so gorgeous with the beautiful poinsettia blossom and holly leaves. To complete the vintage look I colored my images using Derwent Graphitint pencils and pan colors. I stamped the images with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto Arches hot press watercolor paper and fussy cut after coloring.
I wanted to add some bling to my vintage inspired card so I stamped the NEW Slimline Nordic  Background with Versamark ink and heat embossed using Ranger's Enchanted Gold embossing powder. It's my favorite gold embossing powder, it sparkles so nicely.
I used the Slimline Cornered Rectangles dies to cut out my background as well as the card base. The stamped sentiments are included with the NEW Vintage Poinsettia clear stamp set. I wanted the word Christmas to stand out more so I used the Christmas Large Word die. I cut it out several times and layered it to have a 3D effect.

My second creation for today is another slimline card using the awesome Slimline SurReally Cool Christmas papers as my focal point.

These pattern papers are amazing and they make for really quick cards. I chose this gorgeous girl holding a star as focal point for my card. I cut out a frame from white glitter paper using the Slimline Scenic Countryside die set. I used the Merry Large Word die for my sentiment. I cut out the word Merry twice from black cardstock and once in satin gold for the top layer. Done was my card! You could simply mass produce this card changing out the patterned paper for each card.

Tin-Games Sugar Rush

Hey Y'all! Some hot-air balloon greetings coming your way. This cute little stamp is from the Tin-Games Sugar Rush clear stamp set illustrated by Barbara Sproatmeyer.

I stamped the balloon onto violet cardstock and cut it out using my scan 'n cut machine. I added some Stardust glitter to make it pop. The clouds were cut out from white glitter paper using the clouds included with the Array of Rainbows die set. The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments clear set and I used it together with the Simple Sentiment Strips die set.

If you haven't taken part in our WCMD celebrations and missed my tutorial you can view it HERE

It is a fairly quick and easy card which you can create with any type of branch/twig stamps or flower stamps, fir branch stamps (think Christmas) etc. Just be creative and get inspired.
