Build a Garden Birthday Card

Hello Everyone! I am back today to show a card I made using the awesome NEW Build a Garden die set as well as the NEW Pretty Pastels 6x6 Designer Papers.

I love these soft pastel colors from the Pretty Pastels DP. They are so perfect for Spring cards. I also really like the high quality of the paper and the soft sheen it has to it. It also die cuts beautifully. I cut out my flowers from the solid color DP sheets. The pot and the birds are die cut from kraft paper.

The circles were die cut from white heavy weight cardstock using the Pierced and Stitched Circles die set and adhered with glue (the inner circle) and foam tape to achieve a staggered effect. The background in the circle was sponged partly with pink ink and the sentiment stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. To the flower centers I've added Enamel Dots for that little extra shine.
