Whimsy Stamps Adopt Don't Shop Party

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps 'Adopt Don't Shop Party'! We at Whimsy Stamps are all animal lovers and and we would love you to be part of our efforts to help pets in need of adoption. For every Whimsy Stamps Adopt Don’t Shop Cat and/or Dog clear stamp that is sold Whimsy Stamps will donate $1 USD to our local animal shelter 'Gulf Coast Humane Society'.

I have some inspiration for you as well using the adorable Adopt Don't Shop Dog stamp set.

I made a birthday card for a dog lover (this is going to be a card for a very special friend of mine, just can't say a name yet ;-) ) and colored the image with watercolors (Altenew). I also used the new Peekaboo Window 3 die.

I made a shaker card but omitted the foam tape on the shaker portion. I used some double sided tape instead. This makes for a flatter card (better for mailing). The sequins are still moving but not as freely as if you would use foam tape. Good thing is with this technique they will never fall all together to the bottom of the card. With the image covering quite a bit of my shaker window this was just the perfect solution. I got the idea from Jennifer McGuire. 

I stamped a paw on one of the circles using Versamark ink and clear embossing powder for a watermark effect. It's hard to see in the photo but I think here in the close-up you can see it somewhat better.
