A Tasty Read - Digi Image from Elisabeth Bell & Fabulous Candy

Hello everyone! I have something special for you today, great news from our much loved and super talented artist Elisabeth Bell!!! Did you know that Elisabeth has begun releasing a digital collection of stamps  called 'Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection' earlier this month? Well I should say in January as it is already the first of February today... wow how time flies. The first image is called February Flutter and today is the release of the second image...Woooohooooo! And OMG they are drop dead gorgeous! And tataaaaaaaaa...the second image available now is called 'A Tasty Read'. And together with Rosette, Kathrin, Lynda and Jodi from the Belles 'n Whistles DT I can present you a card I have already designed using this image. What an honor to be among the first to use this super cute digi! Thanks so much Elisabeth!
Isn't she cute sitting there engrossed in her book and eating an apple? I LOVE this image. Because this is so like me :-) And I had so much fun creating with her! Make sure you visit Elisabeth's blog to add this little reader to your stamp collection! But wait there is MORE!!!! Elisabeth is also having a FANTASTIC blog candy. She is giving away a full Set of the Belles 'n Whistles Sweet Things Collection (so if you weren't able to purchase yours yet, this might be your chance!!!), a hand-signed print (how cool is that) and a free  'A Tasty Read' digi. So there will be drawn three winners!!!!! You have time to enter this fantabulous candy til Feb. 3rd! See all the details HERE

And this is what I have created with this little cutie, I hope you like it:

About my card:
I colored the image using Copics and the Copic Airbrush System to color the background. DP is from Fancy Pants (striped) and Collage Press. CS is from The Paper Company. Flowers are from Prima and Rhinestones from Basic Grey's Bling It line. The die I've used for decorating the corners is a Cuttlebug die. On the inside I've used a Fancy Tag die from Spellbinders and a Martha Stewart Border Punch. Some highliting with Stickles was done on the flowers and the circles are cut out using Spellies as well. Sentiment stamp is from a small clear stamp set I found in the $1 section at Michaels.

And I used the great sketch over at Midnight Madness to create my card!

Okay and if that wasn't enough already...LOL I have some more candy announcements to make:

Over at our Belles 'n Whistles Blog Summer has a question for you about 'digi or rubber' and 'rubber or clear'
Answer her questions and you will have the chance of winning one stamp of the new Sweet Things collection.

And also on Rosettes Blog is Sweet Stuff candy time. She is celebrating her new DT membership at Mo Manning's Digital Stamp's Dream Team. Wow Rosette this is awesome! Congratulations to you Sweetie!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by today and I would love to hear from you how do you like this digi.

Hugs,
